Have you ever noticed that when you are on Warren Street looking toward the Statue of Liberty from, say, Montgomery Street, the statue looks large and close, and as you walk toward the statue, it almost seems to get smaller and recede? It's an illusion, of course. Much like how the moon or sun appears larger and closer when on the horizon. Try it sometime.

I used to live right over there and this view was always so cool coming home.

I also see him in the city. Especially WTC path. I always wondered who he was. Anyone know any more info about him? What does he he do to be able to wear such incredible clothes?

Yes! And the kicker is the fact they don’t seem to have any POC as instructors whatsoever. I looked up their IG page, run by Austin I believe, and one of the posts says in all caps, “Eating meat is white supremacy.” These guys are delusional.

Gonna counter my extreme dislike of this studio with more praise for Asana Soul, whose instructors are from all walks of life, extremely diverse, and practice yoga with great expertise and care. Celeste, the owner, is a remarkable woman and I just can’t get enough of everything and everyone she welcomes into the studio.

This is every damn day on Sussex where I live - parents stop their car any old place (and never in the designated drop off area!) and I get to hear a symphony of car horns for a good half hour.

Big agree. They leave their property on public land. No need to provide any form of privacy that they themselves won't go about getting.

They can pay for private parking if privacy is a concern.
