The rents are outrageous for “LUXURY HOUSING”. Best is calling a realtor like Weichert (choose your own) downtown and seeing what they have. I got my apartment above Lucky’s that way for much less than market cost.

I see that all of the time... but especially in the morning with schools dropoffs... there's a spot to pull over, but instead they stop dead in the middle of the street blocking traffic, usually with a line of cars waiting behind us...

Agree, 👎🏻 on urban sadhu (formerly Jivamukti). They’d probably say they are traditional vs workout or gym yoga. But what a lot of ego for “traditional” yoga lol. My personal pet peeve is the lazy assholes that double park in front of an EMPTY SPOT! Like, dude, not only are you double parking and impeding the flow of traffic, but you are also blocking someone from being able to use that perfectly fine empty spot. I see it ALL THE TIME in JC, but never seen it elsewhere.

Well the view is a plus but their food is actually really good! Can’t beat the 1$ oysters for happy hour and the papas bravas, Brussels sprouts, and tuna tartare are always spot on.

In some of the neighborhoods: You see that median there? Any hashed yellow stripes? Fair game park on it. Double park people in, honk your horn if you gotta leave until someone comes out to move. It's.... it's a chaotic culture impenetrable to outsiders, that I only am aware of second hand.

Apologies if this is well known or has been posted, but it's really cool to see. I found out when I lived close by, about 15 years ago. Everytime someone out of town visits this area, I try to show them this. The statue looks way bigger in real life ❤

Itto's good; my opinion is it's a perfectly serviceable join if it's your local neighborhood, but wouldn't put it on a farewell to JC tour. And it's subjective, but I find their seating area off, like something about the layout is just uncomfortable feeling and needs to be redesigned.
