Would you have an example where this is visible? I haven’t even seem the general difference, having used iphone since iphone 2G to now iphone 13 pro. I more experience it as an overall improvement of speed by the cpu. Wondering where I can see it in the display Hz

FaceID is terrible, especially on the 14 Pro Maxbut at least unlock with Apple Watch usually works. Most of the phone is fine, but the second you try doing something that is outside of the lines Apple draws, you’re usually fucked.
Try making a shared album then changing the dates it shares from. You can’t. You need to delete it and start all over.

I think it's been a feature since the first iPhone. I can understand why there are some people that don't know about this feature.

I went from a 4S to a 13 (with a bunch of Androids in between). The difference between the two is night and day of course. Back when I had the 4S I felt iOS just wasn't ready yet, it's long since caught up to Android and surpassed it.

It still happens with Live Photo off. If I take a selfie and immediately click on the photo, I can see this weird smoothing effect and minor lighting changes as they’re applied to the picture. I’ve even screen recorded to make sure I’m not just seeing things.
I use Live Photo to change the frame because when I do that, that effect isn’t applied to other frames.

But they removed the interactive widgets when 3D touching apps from the OS itself. That's what I miss the most about it.

I just flew into Greece, bought an eSIM online, and had it running in under 2 minutes. With a couple taps, and didn’t have to remove my old eSIM (just disabled).
With the 13/14 I think you can have 2 simultaneous eSIMs so I’m not sure the problem with this—particularly since every country is being forced into eSIM options because of it

The labor consists of pulling off the old pieces and gluing on the new part.
This guy did it on YouTube and Samsung estimates 88€ for a back glass repair on my S21 Ultra, which is much more in line with what I would expect (the device is also built differently, but it doesn't make up for the $360~ difference lol).
$449 for a back glass replacement on a 13 Pro is ridiculous.

I went from s21 to 14 pro, here are some issues i’ve experienced: 1)many animations on iOS aren’t configured for 120hz and run at about 90hz, which makes smoothness worse compared to android’s 120hz. 2)I prefer Samsungs/androids implementation of notification+control center 3) can’t map flashlight to double/triple clicking power button(I know many people love to bind camera to it as well). 4) no longpress number row in default keyboard
Wonder if these things are also part of your experience, don’t view me as a hater tho, there are reasons why I switched and they satisfy me, but I would give a lot to get features that I mentioned, especially given how easy they are to implement from the coding standpoint

While in the present, SIM is definitely easier for travel, when I traveled internationally recently, it was pretty easy to just purchase an eSIM from places like Airalo. eSIM is definitely not at abundance that SIM is (much like going from micro USB to USB c or any similar transition), I think it’ll get there. iPhone 14 series eSIM convenience is an early adopter burden type of thing imo, sort of like when headphone jack was gone. But it’ll get better.

It maybe a issue with the battery , but also could be a motherboard issue :( , go to a trusted repair shop or apple to check it for you

Any phones speaker will get dirty and will have lower volume , try cleaning them more often so it doesn’t get a lot of crap inside it as I didn’t clean my old 8plus for like a year and now the ear peace speaker has crappy volume no matter how I clean it

It’s mainly bc of the labor required to change it. Most of them have to be taken apart by hand, heating up the glass and then chipping everything off. It’s a long fix.

People can debate the behaviour of DI all they want, but it would be nice if Apple just gave the option to switch what a “tap” and “hold” does.

Here’s a way you can deal with your widget placement issue:

(I haven’t used this particular one - there are many similar options and this is just the first that came up in a quick search)
