I feel like it makes more sense this way. Tapping on a notification (or an app icon) brings you straight to the app whereas long pressing on either one expands a menu with options. It would feel weird if tapping on the dynamic island expanded it and holding it down opened the app. That’s not how anything else in iOS works.

As another example, long pressing expands the tiles in the control center in a way that feels just like expanding the Dynamic Island

Unfortunately the 6s is now a retired device. No device today can run a modern operating system with that low of a base hard drive. There truly isn't an option besides upgrading to a newer device with more memory.

The phone will work as a phone and stock apps will work for the foreseeable future. Added apps and anything requiring updates will cease to function at some point.

Apple says the X weighs 6.14 ounces (174 grams) and the14 Pro Max weights 8.47 ounces (240 grams). That is difference of 2.33 oz. Time to hit the gym weights if this small amount rocks your world.

Am I the only one that keeps trying to swipe down on it or like pull it down to see the options only for it to do nothing! You can pull the sides, but can’t pull it down which sort of bugs me. Then I click on it and now I’m in the app 🤦🏼‍♂️. Definitely still getting the hang of it, but holding down for sure doesn’t feel natural to me.

  1. Idk. I take good care of my phones because I’m 31 and not a perpetual teenager who thinks their stuff is unbreakable, so I go without extra insurance. (Not that I think you are, just sayin’.)
  2. Multitasking isn’t a thing on iPhone. YouTube will still shrink to a window, but say goodbye to splitscreening two apps. Otherwise, smooth transition. File management is the only real downside. Also, the keyboard is the biggest adjustment. You really don’t get an option. Even other keyboard apps will use the same iPhone style keyboard design, so apps like Swiftkey are pulling support for iPhone because it’s just not the same experience you get on Android.
  3. I use Soundcore Space Q45 and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live for headphones. They both work fine. No issues. iPhone doesn’t have aptx or LDAC though, so you won’t get the highest fidelity in Bluetooth. That said, Bluetooth headphones still sound good so it’s whatever. No issues with connectivity.

Why are people downvoting this? I had this when I first got the 13 Pro Max. Noticed a few days ago I don’t have the issue now unless I use my 14PM a lot with no rest. I feel like it could be the refresh rate plus screen time. So I’m thinking when I got the 14 Pro Max my eyes had adjusted to the ProMotion.

I use AUS Weather namely for its widgets and rain notification alerts. It takes data from BOM, and I don’t think you can get more accurate than the weather bureau for Australia.

Might want to try to mitigate oled PWM

Edit: Reports have been that the higher flickering frequency in iPhone 14 pro made it better for those affected though
