Phone validation is not a thing. Ever.

I also went with the pro but my reason wasn’t the same as yours — I did it because pro was the only phone available at that time, I was impatient and impulsive, didn’t want to wait ~2 months and thought of just buying it (tbh my old phone was nearly 4 years old and dying so I didn’t have much of a choice). And couldn’t be happier with my choice. This feels too heavy and a kinda big, so I can only imagine how the max would feel in my hand.
The battery thing doesn’t bother me as much because when I’m out, I rarely get the time to use my mobile that much, so the charge never goes down to zero. Moreover, most places have chargers and ports to charge it. If I’m going on a vacation or something where I’ll be using my phone for longer time, I’d take a power bank or something. And I know how to efficiently use my phone — once charge goes below 30%, I’d put it in power mode.
The only thing better in max is the screen size. But aside from the wow factor, the extra screen doesn’t add up to anything. It’s not bigger by a large margin (area wise, it doesn’t increase that much). Things are still pretty small and crowded — it’s not like you are getting an iPad’s or foldable’s screen size. You can’t do split screen tasks. So the amount of problem it poses (heavier, bulkier, can’t use one-handed) doesn’t justify the bigger form factor imo.

- It is renewable at the monthly rate if you do so before the AppleCare+ expires. You can see you coverage expiration in Settings > General > About. Also in the Support and Apple Store apps. You cannot buy AppleCare+ after the initial warranty expires. You must purchase the one-time two year or monthly plan within 60 days of sale. It’s more a limited or indefinite iPhone insurance than a “we’d like to talk to you about your phone’s extended warranty” thing.
- You’re changing to an entirely different OS. There are lots of things to know. You’d have to be more specific. If you’re using the Apple app for transferring data off your android device, carve out a little time to play with it and be prepared to let it transfer data overnight. Preferably when you don’t have to be at work the next day in case you need to trouble shoot.
- You can use any Bluetooth wireless headphones with any iPhone. Wired headphones will need to be Apple’s own Lightning EarPods or use a Lightning to 3.5 mm jack adapter.
- Apple will replace the battery if battery health rating drops below a certain threshold. I believe this is free while under warranty or at a reduced price if out of warranty but within AppleCare+ coverage. I’m unfamiliar with the specifics as I’ve only ever replaced a battery at reduced rate via AppleCare+ after the two-year mark.

Reply to Going from 14 Pro Max to 14 Plus. by clump_of_atoms
No, people have mentioned the noticeably heavier weight and I got used to it in a day or two. I don’t plan on switching anytime soon, but I’d prefer to switch over to the 13 Pro Max over the 14 Plus because of the feature similarities.
Edit: I realised after commenting this that the 13 Pro Max is about the same weight as the 14 Pro Max. The 14 Plus is a good choice if Pro features aren’t a must.

If the phone doesn’t turn on and it wasn’t backed up it’s too late now. If the logic board is damaged it’s gone. Only way your data will be there is if its something like the battery.

The bezels are slightly more thinner on the 14 and I think the speaker position is slightly different too.

Some have a notch cutout, some do not.
The 14pro screen is bigger.

I was an android user for 8 years after that I switched for many reasons (to iPhone 13 Pro).
For me everything is great, but IOS - I can't get used to system closedness (and file management). I'm kind a old school music listener, I have so many albums in mp3 and with iTunes copying music files is not a great experience. If someone use music streaming app than is not a problem.
