1.) You have to use the subscription model for AC+ if you want it to last more than two years.
1B) I’ve never needed it, but it gives me peace of mind to have it.

- Yes. You can pair any Bluetooth device.

- I changed from Android with the 12 Pro two years ago, and apart from the data copying app on Android being pants, it went ok. I’ve really not noticed a huge difference, apart from sometimes you have to think about how you’re going to get a pic or file off your phone, mainly because I do it really rarely. I can recommend the change though. I’m glad to be rid of Android.

Lightroom has a built in camera that is free. Moment has a camera that is a one time payment.

Halide is a popular camera app. I subscribed to it but it’s far more complex than my needs are.

Your better option might be a Bluetooth car adapter. Plugs into lighter socket, pairs Bluetooth to phone, then you tune car radio to the frequency set on the adapter.

The lightning to headphone Jack adapter is actually like $10 from Apple.
Well worth it as it should last a very long time.

With a suitable adapter. I have a lightning adapter that worked on the XR, and I have no reason to assume it wouldn’t work in the 14 (I should try it; I’ve switched to wireless airbus’s about 1 ½ years ago).

You can get any iPhone, an adapter is like $20 If you’re not keen on using an adapter then you’re stuck with the 6s which is unsupported as of the release of iOS16

So that in the presentation they can bring up that they have the best touch id sensor even though they were the ones who took it out in the first place

Nothing can be installed onto a box.

Something seems to be shorting out. The 6S is an old device and after years of pulling it in and out of your pocket, it’s likely collected some gunk in the port.
Make sure the port is clean. This isn’t super easy but some compressed air shots can loosen stuff up. If you get in there with a toothpick or something, be very careful, once something breaks, it’s done.
once clean, as others have mentioned, use quality earbuds. Plenty of companies still sell the 3.5mm plug style earbuds.

Reply to comment by j1ggl in Apple is the only leading global smartphone vendor to increase sales year-on-year driven by robust demand by preppythugg
Just for context, I moved on to wireless earbuds before apple found the 'courage' to remove them so it never personally affected me. However i find it very easy to sympathize with those out there who are serious audiophiles and have very expensive headphones that obviously do not work over Bluetooth.
You may not care about them then maybe you care about the countless number of people that just needed a private sound experience instead of using their phone speaker on public transport and didn't require any $300 pair of earbuds to achieve that?
Yeh. It was a shit decision only made to sell their airpods. Which evidently they did (look at the revenue brought in by it) but some people did fall through the cracks
Edit: this is response to a comment saying whatever apple does is for a good reason. I just stated one time that it was definitely not for a good reason for the end user...

Finally, someone who agrees the notch and the pill/island are just pathetic interference with a normal full screen! Why won’t Apple just kill the damn notch and island. Who would want their television with a notch or island??? No one! Give us back a normal full screen! People have become such ardent iPhone fans they’ll defend anything. I’ve only bought iPhones ever, but the notch/pill/island is a huge disappointment.

Yeah I meant like actual legit stores and not Craigslist or Facebook or something. So Walmart, target, carrier stores, Apple, Best Buy, etc
