Being able to whip out an iPad if you need something a little bit bigger. I’m a builder so would be pretty cool to be able to pull out my phone and turn it into a tablet to make it easier to look at plans etc.

I was horrified to see the ugly shit this photonic engine does in photos, coming from an iPhone 11 to a 14 pro max. Thankfully there are some good third party camera apps out there

USB mechanical hard drives draws too much power. SSD drives does not so I guess it will be okay to directly connect an SSD with USB-C plug directly to a phone, android or iPhone.
A powered hub or dock is ideal.

Could be a possible Touch ID sensor location. Would probably be about the same size hardware if you look at the iPad Air Touch ID power button size. And be about the perfect location for someone’s thumb to hit it perfectly.

What a universal rule you dropped here. Can be used for anything. But doesn’t mean it’s true if Apple pivotes into something else in the future. Also, the smartphone market is far from saturated.

That’s beautiful to see.
While I personally prefer lightning to usb c, if iPhones get a usb c port, I would love to be able to plug hard drives and accessories directly into the phone.

I’d say you can get hooked in to the Apple brand more because of the AirPods and communications between the laptop, phone and watch. Eg the watch unlocks the laptop, and seamlessly moving a call between all three devices without thinking about it.
