Well yeah, morons complain about them never being resigned and having stagnant designs then buy the new model anyways. I don't know how many posts I've seen over the last 10 years that say something like "The New one looks like the old one how will people know mine is new". Shits comical, and gives insight into the people throwing money at them. I'd bet 99%+ of people who own a MacBook haven't even heard of Terminal much less opened it.

Yes and it will stop one day. At least smartphones will. That should be within the next 2-3 years tbh. Unless there is another great leap in phones.

As mentioned, camera protectors are a waste of time. You wouldn’t put rubbish plastic on top of a professional camera lens, same applies for your iPhone.

Honestly when it comes to stuff like this, I think the cost it takes now until the potential who-knows-when-if-ever of it being added in the future officially… it’s worth it for these kinds of features if it’s something one wants, especially if the app is actively updated like Picsew is.
Even if I don’t use the app 24/7, if Apple did add the feature officially I wouldn’t regret small amount I spent back in like November 2021 for it before Apple did it.

I mean it's like putting a filter in front of any camera. The camera uses precision-ground glass, and when you slap a cheap plastic or glass protector on it that is nowhere near the optical precision of the factory glass, you're going to get problems.

I was an Android user for about 12 years until yesterday. Got so sick and tired of Google's bullshit and insane lack of support or innovation. Apple gets it. The other guys don't.
