Here’s my full experience w thus update:
UPDATE 1: Tried some things to fix this issue
•Reset All Settings in settings app > didn't work, i just got all my passwords and apps setup messed up;
•Downgraded to 16.0.3 > my latest backup was in 16.1, so i couldn't restore a 16.0.3 phone using a 16.1 backup. its my main device, so i don't have the privilege and time to organize and download everything again using the old version;
•Reinstalled the 16.1 and restored it using my latest backup > i'll try this fresh reinstall of iOS and see if it helps. I will post a next EDIT with results in some days. Wish me luck
UPDATE 2: the fresh iOS16.1 installation didn't work. my 13Pro kept overheating and draining battery
•Tried the 16.2 Public beta but no effect > Just got my battery life worse do to 97% (keep in mind i had 98% in 16.1).
•Downgraded to 16.0.3. i didn't have a 16.0.3 backup, so i dis a fresh downgrade and installed every single app manually. Testing right now and i can say that overheating stopped. streamed some videos using YT premium in PIP and did it great! im not sure about the battery drain problem. lets see if apple f*ucked up my battery calibration for good or im back with good an reliable software.

Lovely app! The only issue I seem to have is that the buttons doesn’t seem to add the tracks to any playlist, I have to do it manually in the Spotify app.

Reply to Folks, I am first time iPhone user. I am just loving the experience so far(14 pro max). I bought the leather cover as well. So wanted you opinions if AppleCare is worth it, it’s quite expensive to be honest by Onion_rings_
Good case and tempered glass screen protector. Never had a need for Apple care.

And it’s a huge security risk.

I read a lot here and I think many need to install Truecaller and allow it to monitor the spam calls. I don’t have any issue, I don’t live in the US, but that should solve it. Also, for “app drawer” I just swipe down on the Home Screen and type the name of the app - or Siri suggestions already knows what I need from habits.

Status bar. Apple needs to legit just copy it straight from Android. I should be able to see all notifications and if my phone is on ring, vibrate or silent straight from the top of the phone. Not swipe down or have to check the physical button on the left.
I also miss being able to just click on videos in the web browser and download them straight to my phone.

Not really a big fan of cases on larger phones in particular. It's just makes them even heavier and bulkier.

Yes, drag and drop works great. I was just saying that it’s not (yet) available as an option in the share menu.

The last time I had to use Move To iOS it just copied everything. „Transferring“ is copying with an extra step of deleting the original data, in this context. That could potentially mean to lose data, which is why it should still just copy everything.
WhatsApp was another story, back then there was no official way of transferring your messages. It is possible now, but keep in mind that you can only have one device per WA account, as it is tied to your phone number/sim. There are third party solutions(like WA browser) which connect to your main account, no official way of having the WhatsApp app twice using one account though.

If he is still alive today, we will all have flying cars already. He is undoubtedly one of the most difficult leaders to work with. Because ordinary people don’t have his vision and determination. Miss you , Steve! I still keep your iPhone 4s and ipad 2 ( the last two products that you personally introduced to us).

It just copies it rather than deleting it. Can’t answer the WhatsApp question though.

I just swapped from 14 Pro 256 to Pro Max 128. I use iCloud and I just wasn’t using that much storage.

- side loading apps

• More apps in gPlay or you can download them from web its not that safest way but sometimes its good
• Phone app, spam detection etc.
• screen recording not visible on snapchat😂😂😂
• more codecs, audio files and video files supported and easier to convert to phone with anything, simple plug and play, no itunes and another shits
• sometimes I miss days with SD cards but my last android dont have slot bcs of dual sim or one sim and sd
• miss better battery life on DualSIM

I don’t like the feeling of a naked iPhone these days. I can afford the newest model every year (not the wisest choice though), but it’s way too wasteful to allow the phone to degrade so quickly without care. It could be used by a family member or my child later on and I kinda feel it’s silly not to use the case. Also I don’t feel like I even enjoy to hold a slippery phone, plus some cases are so cool and pretty. P.S. remember using Nokias and Blackberry phones case free? Was amazing. Indestructible!!

I know. But iOS’s gesture model is designed with fluid animations and intuitive motions in mind, which can only be done if the app has control over how the gesture is performed and rendered. Android’s gestures do not utilise animations like that, the back gesture is just an arrow that appears on the side of the screen, that’s much easier to enforce universally.
