To extrapolate is to take known quantities (e.g. your experience with the iPhone 6.1 inch size) and apply them to unknown quantities (the general experience of the general population of iPhone users).

You complain about how you have trouble reaching the top of the 6.1 inch screen, and that’s fine, that’s your experience. But you’re very dramatic about how they didn’t keep the dimensions of the human hand in mind when designing the 6.1 model. But human hands don’t have a definitive dimension (defined as measurements height, length, depth, etc). Sure, there is a certain range of common proportions (for instance, your thumb is probably not longer than your middle finger), but you’re not talking proportions. You specifically said dimensions.

And I don’t care to have a whole debate about whether one is right or wrong. You have users here mentioning that since the sales for 6.1 and 6.7 inch size options for smartphones tends to outpace the sales for the smaller devices you’re begging for, it can be assumed that those 6.1 and 6.7 devices are more popular.

You keep trying to pull people into debating whether one is right or wrong or correct or better. But this is a discussion board, not a debate team. I don’t think anyone here really cares or has an opinion as to which is objectively better. We all just know what’s better for /us/ as individual users. And that’s what we are all commenting on, more or less. But you’re taking everything as a personal hit. Every downvote as a judge of your character. But fake internet points don’t matter.

And as far as those who are resorting to name calling (yourself included, calling mr cock and balls a “big boy” quite sarcastically), there’s really no need.

And yes, I flaired that I have a 14 pro. But it doesn’t matter, six weeks ago my flair said XR. I don’t think it makes me better than anyone. I have my flair so that when I comment or post in this subreddit, people can see what my experiences are based on. We get you’re unhappy with the offerings. But that doesn’t mean that everyone else is, too.

Photo Management. I can forgive or deal with other stuff but the photo management on IPhone is complete ass. There is no reason why photos taken with the camera can’t be put into their own folder off the bat and there is no reason for photos that are part of an album to still show in recents.

Edit: I seriously don’t understand this subreddit, I state a factual “you can set up custom sounds for specific people” as I literally have custom sounds for multiple contact right now and then people are like “welp time to downvote as if you said something that is incorrect!”

Unique sounds per individual as in person in messages and calls? That can be done, but otherwise per app notification sounds is kind of an annoying area as it completely relies on the developer to provide a custom notification sound otherwise it does a default one.

1000% worth it. I was going into the Apple Store one day to get my watch fixed and I tripped over a curb and totally shattered my phone and watched. Walked out with replacements 30 minutes later.

I switched after the Samsung Note 7 fiasco, never looked back, and have never missed it. I was a pretty hardcore Android nerd too, built custom ROMs and kernels and whatnot. It takes a second to get used to but once the muscle memory is there it’s seamless. As far as apps, I think what you’ll notice is how noticeably polished the iOS versions are, and you’re gonna love the battery life, especially if you’re coming from Samsung.

This this this! The app is amazing, not to mention that compared to competition as far as I found (others charging 8-10 plus Canadian dollars) for all the features it only costs 2.79. This isn’t even mentioning that it has a widget for the left-side widget menu which has a quick access scroll shot combining feature without having to open the app itself.

I can’t recommend the app enough if the topic of scrollshots comes up so it was nice to see someone else mention it. It was the only feature I greatly missed from the Samsung phone I had before, and it filled that role wonderfully.

The insane camera bump on the iPhone 14 pro was the main reason I returned it, it was too sharp and uncomfortable to hold imo

I’m not too sure what you mean. I don’t know if it does or has the capabilities to do what apps like Mint do with automatically getting expense data. I do everything manually. Whether I use my debit or credit card I just have accounts for each of them.
