Regarding universal back swipe: If you’re wanting to go back to the previous app, you can just swipe to the right (to go back) and to the left (to return to the same app) along the bottom of the screen where the gesture bar is.

Yeah, OP is asking for too much. They're not going to find something that keeps the cards away from the screen unless (maybe) they look at womens' larger clutch wallets.
I have seen a folio wallet with a (small-ish) ID window, but it's half-plastic and half cheap-but-OK leather. (In fact, that's what I'm currently using, as I haven't found anything as convenient or as thin/small. It's really fugly but I don't care.)

I have the Spigen full screen protector on my 13PM. It looks/feels like there isn’t even a screen protector esp with a case on it. It hasn’t affected the quality of my photos yet.

Just adding my 2¢. Dark Sky has never been accurate for my area, so I like being able to use other sources. Plus, I personally don’t like Apple/Dark Sky’s radar.

No one wants to talk to you because you’ve demonstrated repeatedly you can’t have a conversation. Any opposition to what you say is met with total dismissal. So attempting to converse with you is pointless.
That’s the most I’m going to reply to you, so don’t bother responding. I just thought you could benefit from at least hearing why you’re getting downvoted without response.
I know your first response to me would be “please specify which comments”, but you should be able to read your own comments and figure it out. The answer is almost all of your comments. Take the opportunity for some self reflection because that’s the most you’re going to get out of this thread at this point.

That’s because it’s syncing in the background, email apps do this. Before iOS 16 I always had to manually do it but I’ve noticed no battery difference at all.

Yeah totally. It’s a nice (and at times bad) to have. Just a natural progression of the iPhone. I have tons of lightning devices so in the typical apple fashion, cash in on the apple cable taxes and then make the switcheroo.

I assume for people exactly like myself, like I just described.
Apple promised 10 years out of Lightning, and this is year number 10.

It isn’t that usb-c is a necessity. Hardly in fact but knowing that the EU is forcing the hand to go USB-C that apples eco system is currently a mix of both cable standards which is a sign that it’s coming. Why not just adopt it now? The other core advantage of usb-C is transferring huge files and video for editing purposes which I do a decent amount of. While lightning is fast that usb-C would truly help speed up things even faster. Not a deal breaker per se for most people but video editors or raw file users might care for this. I have a gazillion different cables at home so usb-c or lightning is well moot for me as far as deal breaker decisions are concerned. I can use either interface.

Universal back, call screening, and most of all notifications. I really can’t wrap my head around his bad iOS is with notifications.

I can see your points, outside of USB-C. I still don’t get the loud screams for this. I have near zero other devices that use USB-C. In fact, all of my other Apple devices still use Lightning. I’d actually be annoyed if this phone had USB-C, as I’d have to go out and purchase different cables for it, which is the opposite of what I hear claimed so many times elsewhere.

Not a user of it, but I’d say absolutely not. Dark Sky was awesome and apple’s now integrated that.

I’ve subscribed to Daylio, Endel, and Plant Identify. Daylio may have saved my life. Endel is just very fucking cool. Plant identify is fun for finding which plants are weeds before they grow too big, and also fun for identifying random things outside.

Nah the back button in Android is by far the biggest gap between the two OSs imo, I was in the market for a new phone about three months ago when I got a new job and they gave me an iPhone so I decided to give that a go instead of purchasing a new Android and (among other things as well) it was one of the main things that drove me insane and made me get a Pixel 7 haha.

100%. I was legit torn on this new phone as it was eye catching more so than any other previous phone (obviously being that it’s the newest). In your case it makes complete sense but for iPhone 12 users (and possibly even iPhone 11 Pro users) and newer maybe not so much. Nice phone but until they have more modernized tech in it like vastly improved cams or USB-C that it just wasn’t enough for me to justify the added expense of yet another great phone.

Reply to Can a sneaky husband connect an android to his iPhone to mask calls and location? by Dapper_Astronaut3443
OP the issue is not the phone. It seems to me that you are looking for some sort of validation that your husband is wrong. It looks like there is very little trust in your relationship. Ask him straightforward and express your concerns. You are just going to hurt your mental health by letting your mind run uncontrollably in the wrong direction. Best to get straight answers and not draw conclusions.
To answer your question yes it’s possible to leave your iPhone at work and forward your calls to a different number. I hope you find peace
