Notebooks App (App Store). It is super underrated. It’s a note taking app with some nice polish and, most importantly, just text files. No proprietary formats and future proof. Syncs with iCloud or Dropbox or generic WebDAV. The latter makes it idea for self hosting too.

I don’t understand why it’s not more popular!

Most users of freemium apps NEVER pay a cent for the app, even after using it for years.

It's rare to see a majority of paying users. So... vast majority? I think it's easier for me to be crowned the next UK emperor, or czar, or whatever it's called.

I can't go into every other website in the world and force them to send me GPG-encrypted emails. The emails are going to arrive unencrypted.

You could use a provider that stores your emails encrypted. But when the app requests the emails using IMAP, they're coming unencrypted, otherwise the email app wouldn't be able to read it and show it to you.

If the email app gets them unencrypted... it was all for nothing. So how does it solve the problem mentioned?

The problems with the twitter app:

  • It shows ads between your tweets.
  • Sometimes it reverts back to showing you tweets selected by the algorithm instead of showing tweets from people you follow, in chronological order. And you have to change that setting again.
  • It doesn't remember the last tweet you saw!!!

Thank you for your service I guess?

For me coming from a 7 Plus, it was an obvious winner. Sometimes it makes more sense and sometimes it doesn’t.

You know you're making your point when the downvote to actual counter-arguments ratio is so high - in fact, as high as it is here. Thank you to the haters and bullies that jumped in, many of whom have since swiftly deleted their personal attacks (presumably embarrassed).

I hope this remains a place where people can freely express themselves. I am an iPhone fan and will continue to be. I bought the original iPhone and iPod Mini before that. I've also had the larger iPhone models over the years. But I don't appreciate being attacked because I don't favor an iPhone 14 or in some other manner am not toting the company line. I noticed the weak trend to flood these types of posts at the same time in the hope of overwhelming the original poster. Their arguments are usually rather tame and often littered with logical fallacies and poor comprehension. When they hit any resistance, they abandon thread and jump to the next. I hope more people can express their opinions (however unmarketable!) more freely without feeling threatened or suddenly outcast. If that's the vibe, it's not something I want to be a part of.

Actually I don’t, but I’m a bit fastidious. I own the desktop application too which helps organize and remind me when to leave and what to take kind of thing. Lots of different applications out there, but I’ve found this one to be the brain dump stuff so I can enjoy life and not have to keep all the little details in my head.

Wow… I’m sorry then…. Yeah then there definitely is something up. Still don’t confront him just yet, try to gather more evidence and then confront him. More evidence that he was doing something wrong when you file for a divorce (if needed, try marriage therapy or what not first) will favor you the courts will look at that stuff, if he catches on that your investigating him then he will likely destroy evidence and etc.

Overall hire a lawyer in secret if you can and save everything you find

You’re asking for too much and won’t find anything that will fit your criteria. The whole point of a wallet case is to have the cards on the cover so yes it will always touch your screen, there’s no way around that. Also I have not seen any wallet case that has a ID window.
