I love the brightside, positivity. But I can say for sure that his work does not provide a work phone. Unfortunately the money thing is hundreds of dollars in cash, and even going as far as to withdrawing from my sons account, (one I don’t have access to, but he does on his phone), he has taken $100 from there. Pulled in $20 increments. Also does cash back a lot. Then tells me things like he doesn’t remember what it was spent on or why he needed it…

Imo, get a good case (Eg. Mous Limitless) and a good tempered glass screen protector and be careful with your phone.

Take the money you would have spent on insurance and keep it in an account. Over time you’ll have enough money in that account to cover any issues you have and won’t need to waste any on insurance.

That aside, insurance only really makes sense if you can’t outright afford to replace or repair your device. You’re gonna be out that initial $200 regardless if you use the insurance or not.

No, thank you brother. Quoting statistics is, according to you, "outrageous overgeneralization". Did you have a hard time with math in school?

I appreciate that you came in here to bully me, but you're not going to win and it's certainly not something I admire. If you have an actual scientific argument to make, please share it. I've never encountered someone though so obliviously throwing around terms like "generalization" without understanding their meaning.

If you'd like, you can DM me and I'll share some resources.
