Do you have an actual counter-argument or did you just come in here to bully me, and suggest I'm "living under a rock" because you disagree with something I say? You seem like a coward that ran away because he couldn't think up a counter-argument.
Look forward to more of your unbelievably obvious commentary!

I'm a student so I use the recording function to record lectures. It's a legitimately useful feature for me.

Sounds like a really bad situation. Hopefully some trust can be rebuilt and the phone situation can be resolved.

You just need a charger that allows you to use a lightning cable. I'm still using the old charger with a USB-A port (I think it's 5W) and cord from my iphone XS, and it works fine. I also got an Anker Nano USB-C charger for times I want faster charging.

I’m British and some use the WhatsApp and some use messenger. The majority for me is iMessage.

Yep. I work and have to walk through a shady area. Never bought apple care until I needed theft coverage

Do you get annoying alarms that keep on ringing until you disable them? Standard iPhone notifications app just beeps once and I never pay any attention to it. And does it have location based alarms?

Real folders for my images :( I hate that everything is lumped together and it forces me to archive game info / artwork / ect off my phone.

Spam protection in text messages was also very good. The options for spam filtering I found so far in iOS are terrible.

I switched from a Pixel 6 Pro to a 14 Pro Max after using Android phones for the last 7 years. The 14PM is an excellent device, and I had a great experience overall, but there were just too many things that I missed from Android that affected my day-to-day usage, and I had a hard time trying to get used to those things. So I ended up deciding to switch back. I ordered a Pixel 7 Pro and it was just delivered to my house today. As far as specific things that I missed from Android, there were a lot, but a few bigger ones are:
- Pixel-specfic features (call screening, now playing, swipe for Google Assistant, etc.)
- Swipe back gesture from any screen
- The way notifications overall are handled
- Being able to double tap to lock screen (I know you can double tap the back on iPhone)
- Having an app drawer (not limited like iOS)
- All of the usual Android customizations (arranging icons, custom launchers, installing 3rd party apps, etc.)
Here me again though, iPhone 14 is an excellent phone! Easily in the top 2-3 phones available right now. I could rattle off a bunch of things about the phone that are amazing which I will miss switching back. But, I've just come to realize that Androids (and specifically Pixel phones) are definitely what work best for me and my lifestyle.
Edit: Grammatical corrections

It’s really all on the person. I didn’t buy apple cover and I still have my phone in mint ever since the 11 came out. It’s all on how you are and careful or whatever right. If you think eh maybe I’m not that careful then go ahead cause Atleast once the warranty expires it gives you more value for your buck at the end of the day.

Try sincerely talking to him, and please don’t jump to conclusion because that’s one of the easiest ways to ruin a marriage, maybe for some reason he was assigned a android phone for work and he is using the carrier his company provided him, That would be more logical than him going out and doing stuff behind your back, And about the money thing if it’s a few dollars off here and there then I wouldn’t see it as a serious issue unless it’s an item over 100 usd. Just calm down and think logically for your marriage please.
EDIT: ask the bank to look at where the money is going, he might not know because he has nothing to do with it going missing and your bank could be hacked, someone could be slowly taking money out of your account hoping you might not realize.
Like I said in the beginning ask him nicely and don’t bring up the idea of him purposefully hiding his location ask if he has a work phone, and check into your bank statements

Your condolences for what? If the person is cheating, which the evidence neither supports nor refutes, the person is playing the willing victim and looking for reddit hand holding.

I think it’s about immersion. Recreating or bettering cinema immersion in the comfort of your own home that you don’t have to dress up in. Just sit there in your jimmyjams and let go of the world outside

Would have to acknowledge that in earlier times stimulating the cortex like that would almost certainly involve a lot of physical activity (you, in motion). Not the case anymore with these massive digital displays.. all those lights dancing around.

The default voicemail is neither the same nor different. It is carrier defined. I carry an iPhone and Android phone and, until customized, the message is the same on Verizon. Yes, I have carried two phones for years so this is not new.
With that said, yes, you are coming off as paranoid since there are other simpler explanations particularly since it corresponds to when the person is at work. If you have a concern about your husband then address it with him, not reddit. He could be cheating or you could be looking for a problem that does not exist. The phone is not the problem - it is the relationship that needs to be addressed.

I'm assuming because they stimulate the visual cortex so much (and that's such a large part of your brain, from what I understand). Totally guessing.

lol, good point. Have you noticed the larger screens are literally harder to pull your eyes away from (involuntarily)? Have such a gravity to them.
