If you’re responsible you’ll always use a case and s teen protector. In most cases(pun) a lens protector. Or just not drop your phones.

Try messaging him on iMessage when you're suspecting he might not be at work. When he's forwarding and taking calls from an android, he won't be able to see your iMessages, and all messages he sends to you will only appear on your phone as a green bubble text message.

We’ll since Apple Pencil doesn’t register on iphones(obvious I know) you pretty much use some off brand pen or worst case scenario, your fingers. But adding pencil support would be tricky since you can only charge it (2nd gen) on an iPad.

I don't personally think it's worth it. I've not as yet broken a phone. If I break this one, I'll either repair it or buy a new one (if this were to happen 2 years down the line). The amount I have saved not paying for Applecare/Samsung care over the years pretty much matches the value of my phone.

Idgaf I’d use a pencil every day if it was supported by my iPhone. I came from having a Samsung note and the stylus is the biggest thing I miss coming over to an iPhone. Or you know what? Apple can make a separate stylus and sell more shit. I’d preorder one if it was an option.

Any reputable brand. Spigen, Jetech, Mous, Otterbox etc. I personally use Ocase. The one on my S10+ lasted the entire 3 years I owned the phone, though it did start to fall apart in its last few months.

I’m not sure if Google still does this but when you do a Google search and open one of the results it’ll open a different version of the page that says amp on top and messes up the layout of the page.

It’s not as seemless but you can make a shortcut to open the calculator of your choice every time you try to use the built in one

My wife and I have our locations shared on Google Maps, for safety reasons. Based on what OP said, sounds like they have theirs enabled via the native find my and family sharing stuff.

You can just swipe backwards and it will return you.

The main issue I had was it was showing up with background activity on my phone. It never showed up before but after 16.1, it would sit in the list of apps showing battery usage. I've deleted the app as I never used it.
