I trust Apple refurbs more than most company’s new. You’re good there, refurb or not.
If you’re still within the return policy, I’d suggest doing a straight return and exchange, honestly. But don’t worry, this early into the 14 release I doubt you’ll get a refurb.

I haven’t used that one but I’ll check it out. Although I wouldn’t use recording very much.

Thanks i hope so too, just a lil skeptical about the replacement thing, a friend of mine told me they send refurbished ones as replacement. Never had a replacement so idk. But i am sure it isn’t true.

You can sketch and draw over any pdf you upload into it. If you’re a student you can upload a book or a professors slides and take notes over it with an Apple Pencil. I upload drawings or reports and redline them using my iPad and I get the notes back at my desk instantly or I can share them to my team using any cloud service. I’ve only used the basic apple notes app for quick notes here and there where I just need to type.

Gotcha. Good luck, I hope it’s some weird hardware issue that can be resolved with a quick replacement!

I have no idea. I’m picking up the Pro Max in a few hours.

Doesn’t iOS do that too? In any app I can swipe in from the left edge and it goes back to last page/menu

Yes its outside the US. The carrier is Airtel, it works fine on other device but suddenly stopped on my iPhone today.
dskatter t1_iu5hjmy wrote
What carrier? I’m guessing outside the US, since you’re talking about physical SIM cards and US 14 models don’t have those.

I think 4k cinematic mode is hardware based because of the upgraded 48 MP main sensor.

Sure but I don’t always have a desk to sit at for using a keyboard. Also, you can upload a pdf into GoodNotes and write on it where a keyboard isn’t useful there. I am an engineer so I am always redlining drawings or reports or making sketches or just making extra comments to clear things up as parts get built. My drawings get uploaded in real time and my team gets them instantly. For personal notes, I make a lot of sketches so being able to draw with the Apple Pencil is great.

Okay that is simply not true. It takes a little less than 2 hours to go from 0-100 when using Apple's own 20w usb-c to lightning charger. You actually get better results in using Anker and Spigen chargers.

Eh. It's just a thing. I rarely even notice it. The only time I ever DO notice it is when I'm listening to music or talking on speakerphone and I'm watching the "voice meter" thing go up and down. Other than that it's basically invisible to me.

I just find it hard to believe most people are taking advantage of that extra processing power. Surely some are. Unfortunately there's no hard evidence one way or the other. I don't personally see a noteworthy number of people playing graphically intense games or running large, sophisticated computations on their smart phones. Most are playing very basic games, streaming Netflix, and/or swiping on Tinder. lol
Battery life... okay. I have a big power pack for that. You really just need the battery to get you through the day (and power pack suffices for traveling).

It's absolutely not a UK thing. Barely anyone in the UK uses SMS and even fewer use iMessage. I had an iPhone for 2 years and didn't use it once.

I don’t recommend to anyone to subscribe to anything, Why? Because is a waste of money supporting greedy companies which made $T of money from fee’s.
If you really want to support devs by the product or service directly avoiding the middle man who take 30 percentages just by being clever to addict the user in his golden cage. Think yourself what you own when you pay for subscriptions?

I know. But I don't want to potentially lose my place where ever I am. Most times, I just leave Apollo open, but sometimes I need an answer to a question and I don't always expect it to be on reddit.
