I never had a problem with any of the things you just mentioned especially faceID. That’s one of the most flawless features Apple has ever had IMO.
Just get get a different phone then cause you clearly are not happy with the product.

You don't have to use a sim card. iPhone 13 can use eSIM if you like. Use whatever one you want. There's no difference.

I prefer Notability. Being able to record while taking notes is a huge feature for me.

It also doesn't have that stupid button that takes you to the bottom of the post. Sometimes for some reason it's way too high and I end up being dragged to the bottom.. lol

Yes. I dropped my 13 Pro in January and scratched the screen. Apple had a new one in my hands in two days.

Physical SIMs will be around for a long time yet. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Plenty of people are using older phones with no thought of updating. There are over 6 billion smartphones in use and probably at least the same that aren’t smartphones.

It uses platform native UI. Instead of whatever that shit Reddit threw together.
It’s also got a much better text editor for adding formatting to comments.
It’s also much faster.
The only thing the official app does better is they have a few exclusive features that developers don’t have access to.
Like the instant messaging, Sign in with Apple, etc…
But it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

When you open a link through google, it loads the page through their servers.
It’s supposed to speed up the experience, but what it actually does is fill the page with google ads, and google tracking.
Amplosion prevents safari from opening the google served page and instead opens the original.

Contacts+ - great contact app, allows continuous exchange between various other contact apps: iOS/google/outlook, etc. Next is My Radar Pro: best comprehensive app for showing storms, etc. Next is Fantastical - best I’ve found for a better calendar than each iOS/Google native apps.

Yup. The 13 can use card or esim. Only the 14 is esim only.
