I feel like iOS having Apple Pencil support would make apps like these much more useable

Reply to People who have moved from a larger iPhone to the iPhone mini, what was your experience? Would you recommend it? by NMLWrightReddit
Went from the 7+ to the 12 mini
Much smaller phone but same approximate screen size.
I am 100% happy with my smaller phone, but it is worth pointing out that I almost never leave the house without an iPad or MacBook. So if I need to do something that would not be comfortable on the phone, and I am not walking or driving, I'll use the iPad.
Also, before switching to the mini, I noticed that more than 70 % of my interaction with my iPhone were done without using the scree. By that I mean I use the CarPlay screen, the Apple Watch or the headphone buttons, or I just talk to Siri. In none of those use-cases, the size or quality of the iPhone display are relevant.
Also, worth pointing that if I am not wearing my glasses, I could not read my mini, but having one or two extra inches of display would not make a difference. There might be people out there who have a hard time reading the mini, but their eyesight is just at the point where a plus or pro max is readable for them.

Being able to reach out to immediate customer service if you need it instead of waiting 15 mins in the chat bot for Samsung people to reply.
Quality customer service instead of external vendor of customer service reps from Samsung.
Need more?

ProCam offers sliders for exposure/shutter/focus that bring shots to a new level. The burst mode rules, you can choose a variety of output formats. Take shots with all lenses at once.
Pay once and it gets out of your way.

Off topic question, but are itune gift cards still a thing? I just returned to the wall garden and assumed that apple's "Apple gift card" encompassed everything.

It’s VASTLY better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
That said, if you get it, you also get a much lower price for battery replacement. Say you keep your iPhone for the three years Apple Care+ covers you, and at by that time your battery health is at ~85%. You can just go and get it replaced for much less than what it would cost regularly.

How many phones have you broken over the years? If none, then it’s unlikely that you’ll break your current phone. If you’re on the clumsy side, then you’ll have to go almost 3 years without an incident to make NOT having AppleCare worth it.

I live in a capital city in the US and theft is drastically rising. Apple care + theft and loss is almost a no brainer for me because with my economic status, I cannot afford to replace a $1,300 device if it was stolen or if I destroyed it somehow. I would then be completely without a phone and left paying monthly payments for a device I cannot use anymore (I financed the phone thru Verizon).

you probably don't need different keyboard. But i call BS on faceID working flawlessly. Yes, it does work when there's "good conditions". But it fails when i have e-cig in mouth or when i'm lying on the bed and half my face is covered in pillow and so on. "Well, it's not supposed to then" Yes, but there aren't any others options, there's no fingerprint, nothing. I have put my passcode in iphone so many times that i'm annoyed and tired of it.

They should add the coding app from iPads instead. I don’t care about drawing on my phone, but coding would be sick.
Edit: Ohh sorry, I guess me caring more about coding than drawing is an unpopular opinion.

That’s up to personal preference for sure, I found the official Reddit app to get more and more worse when it comes to layout as time went on. Not to mention viewing media (as in videos) is really wonky in the official app as of my experiences, especially as someone who commonly saves posts a lot. I like the gesture based upvotes and replying too, reduced a lot of screen clutter. Also it hides comments of people you blocked instead of it showing “[Blocked User]” all the time allowing you to see their text anyway, kind of defeating the purpose of the block feature. Especially when you use it to block nasty bigots.
Only thing I wish Apollo had which it doesn’t, is Drafts. I have not replied to some people because I typed a whole comment only for the app to close or something else and while it can recover the text.. sometimes it hard to ever find posts again.
