iPhone mini is the absolutely perfect phone. You sacrifice a little battery life and screen size for huge usability gains.
I’ll never go back. When the iPhone 14 was announced without a mini I immediately upgraded my 12 mini to the 13 mini.

I went from the 12PM to the 14PM and am not having any s/w issues with it. I'm really happy with the upgrade.

From a technical perspective, eSIM v.s. physical SIM shouldn't have any real impact on service quality.
"SIM" stands for "Subscriber Identity Module". It's just something that stores an identity (a fancy serial number).
It's not an antenna. It doesn't do any "connecting" or "receiving". The phone asks the SIM (whether physical or digital) for its fancy serial number and then passes that number along to cellular towers when establishing a connection with them.
Any difference in service quality would be the result of the phone and its antennas *or* the network and its cellular towers, not how the SIM part is implemented.

Went from the SE2 to the 14P... I definitely noticed a big weight change lol.
Not gonna lie, I hated it at first. I was very comfortable with using my thumb to reach everything on the screen so easily and it was so light. This was a huge jump for me that I'm still getting used to. It feels like I'm carrying a brick in my hand and feels big in the pockets. But, like you said, I'm getting used to it very quickly and I really appreciate the beauty of the phone.
I would love there to be an iPhone 1X Pro Mini, but one can only dream... or work their way to the top of Apple and make this a reality.

Browsing the web or Apollo in dark mode ? even at full brightness, no worries…I’m good for the first half of the day, perhaps closer to 4 hours of SOT ? (Also another note, the latest updates to iOS have decimated the battery life and health) if you use the phone for anything else, binge-ing some YouTube, a family photo session, forget it, embarrassing to even mention….but, it’s a small battery, so it charges quick. A quick plug in with a fast charger or battery pack and you’ll be back at it.

Same here but with a drop of alcohol. I also turn iPhone so that any dirt or dust falls down when brushing. Don’t lay in such way so that grime falls (back) in.
Although it’s debatable, does anything falls down when you’re cleaning that way because you might be pushing it back into it; better to be safe than sorry you might position the iPhone as I mentioned before

I used to like Airalo until I realized they were just reselling the 3HK data plan in some cases. If you want a cheaper plan you can typically find one, ESIMDB is a good resource.

No man. The air pressure (if you press it all the way )might damage the membrane.

Yes, but somehow the pocket photos and the flash coming on in my pocket have not happened since 🤷🏻♂️ Maybe just a coincidence but worth a try.

I loved my mini but I don’t think I could go back to it after switching to 14 pro. The battery life and camera quality are a must for me.
