That’s good ole’ Reddit for you at-times unfortunately! I use Spotify, and am always fiddling with the audio-quality depending on what music I’m listening too. So, I completely understand why this would be an issue

Do the backup and restore your phone in itunes, it will delete all cache and crap. Thats the first step. If its not working, then its a hardware issue. Let me know how it went!

I really didn’t anticipate to stir up quite the debacle, I appreciate the defense.

We have a first aid kit at work and there are Antibacterial wipes that I will wipe it down with and I use the air hose at work as well to gently spray the buttons, charging port, etc. after that I’ll take a lens cleaner wipe and wipe the screen.

In OP’s defense, many music-playing apps provide audio equalizers. With that said, sometime you need to turn the volume up quite high depending on if you’re recording/listening.

Reply to How good is FaceID in 2023? by zeppovendetta
From what I saw it works very good. Being a face unlock method it needs to see your face (duh) but using infrared, it works in the dark as good as in the light.

Americans have a god-given right to destroy their hearing with the deafening sounds of repeated gunfire.

Yep same. Bought from apples website when iPhone 14 Pro came out, my carrier is AT&T and my phone was unlocked from the beginning.
gommerthus t1_jefggw8 wrote
Is there a reason you don't just go straight to the Apple store to buy your iPhone? They can do the carrier activation.

This isn't just AT&T. It's been this way for a long time. Retailer Flex Policy. If you buy a device (even full price) from BB, the carrier of the sim it's activated with, is sim locked to it in the beginning.

I just use glass cleaner with a microfiber cloth. The whole phone is basically just glass.

Same here in Canada 🇨🇦 the CRTC made it so carriers can no longer lock phones to companies although we still get unfair bills but I am lucky and found a great phone company who charges a fair price
Pigeon_Chess t1_jefee4q wrote
They don’t really lock devices to a network anymore here

I have serious concerns about how long the SIM trays would last if swapped weekly, especially the water seal. They probably weren't designed to be opened that frequently. If the seal fails, water damage could be even more costly.

Microfiber cloth to clean screen. A teensy bit of water on problem areas, followed up with microfiber cloth drying. I maybe take the case off once a year to dust. BE CAREFUL when cleaning the screen as you may damage the oleophobic coating if using any liquid other than water.
