Hacking your Google Account and hacking your phone are 2 very different things.

I’d suggest you change your Google account password, security questions, and revoke all devices currently signed in.

You should just wipe your phone start over. Or go to a Genius Bar for support / call apple. There is no possible way for someone to randomly “hack” your iPhone or slow down the network speed probably just a bunch of junk subscriptions in calendar and safari notifications for websites where the adds are coming from and other things just clogging up your phone.

I say start fresh / wipe & new apple account. or take it to someone technical to have a look at your phone.

It’s a lot faster, utilizes ram a bit better making it really nice to use. My NVMe 2TB Samsung SSD is utilized even more. I boot up in 6 seconds with a few boot programs. Although, Nvidia is dropping the ball on their drivers lately for windows 11. But, other than that. It’s got tabbed windows now! So you can have as much window files open in 1 pane as you want.

Idk if it does, and regardless I’m not impressed with the update. I like the ui changes because I’m a huge Mac lover, if people developed games for the newer macs, I’d so switch. That and solidworks. But just haven’t seen any good reason to update. Granted I don’t pay any attention to anything windows news wise so maybe I’m missing something but eh

So just keep letting them? That seems like a bad idea. Yes, those other platforms mine your data too. But TT is directly linked to China, and you'd be amazed what they can learn from you. Plus, they serve the worst most mind-numbing content to America -- they would never let their own citizens see that dreck.

I repeat: delete your account then the app.

It’s a matter of personal taste that only you can decide. Just be careful not to regret it. This sub is full of posts from people asking why their new iPhone doesn’t do this’n’that like their old android did.

Android and iOS are different, and the choice is solely yours.

Only you can make that decision. If you’re invested in the Apple ecosystem then iPhone will obviously suit you better. If you’re more invested into the windows & android world, then I guess Samsung would be better for you, unless you’re looking for a new experience.

This goes the same for all social media such as Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc. They’ve been collecting our data for years and TikTok is no different. I also think it would be a waste of money for China to create an app just to collect people’s data in the US. Our data has been for sale on the internet for years! If China really wants it that bad then just buy it. What’s next? Are you gonna tell me that TikTok is listening to me? That’s a BS answer because your Alexa, Google Home, Siri, iPhone, and same goes with all social media/websites are also listening to us. And who knows what these US companies are doing with our data! They could be selling it to china for all we know. The TikTok ban thing is the biggest scam of 2023. When did the government care for our security?! Like never! If they think TikTok is a national security issue, we might as well ban the whole f*cking web and every tech device because they are all made in China! Also did you forget that China owns land in the US? All this is a scam! It’s all about money 😡😡😡 And don’t tell me that I should trust the US government with my data more than China. I don’t trust any kind of government with my data!

I use iPhone, but only because it is a little more private than the standard Google Android OS. The most private, of course, would be a de-Googled Android.
