They can still use rcs. They use sms now. No reason to not implement rcs. Encryption or not. SMS doesn’t have it anyway.

As someone who uses iPhones and iPads but prefers windows pcs this is pretty exciting.

Myth. 100% sure that if I restore a backup, like I previously did, my phone will be the same in every aspect. And it’s about data speed, iPhone uses NVMe, which is super fast with that. We are not in 2005 with HDD. And you don’t have any 100% method to prove me that index is a thing nowadays. Again, you’re wrong. If my backup was around 30 gb and my iPhone nvme couldn’t read and process that in 1 hour or less, I would just sell the phone, it’s a nvme after all, super high speed in reading and writing 😉

Thank you. I have a few Apple stores in the area, maybe 30 minutes drive to get there. Think that I will therefore probably use, also because I have two children at home, where even a case does not bring the most protection. And because I dont have 500 bucks for things like that actually.

Try setting your face as Face ID on your BFs phone and see if it works. Likewise, get your BF to set Face ID on your phone. See what works.

If your face on his phone works, and his face on your phone doesn’t work, then the problem is your phone and you can take it to Apple for repair/replace.

Otherwise, still take it to Apple and get them to troubleshoot.

The mask setting is hit or miss. I’d recommend just turning it off. I found when wearing a mask that I’d have to tilt my head forward and have the phone pointed directly at my face for it to register.

Since apple doesn’t make gaming PCs, this will be a huge boon for me.

Oh well. Only thing I would use it for is sending links and screenshots to people I text on iMessage. Which is like 5 people. Everyone else I can message on windows already

It's super annoying. Screenshot option works and "fake" creating a new contact too.

I just ask Siri to play a random artist. She played the song and said “you can tell me which music source to play it from and I will learn your habits.” It was something similar to that. So tell her to play from the app you want. She should learn over time.
