Yep. Absolutely.

Well, that an the cheap phone I bought to run some tests for a friend.

But yeah, the TV experience is absolutely the reason.

Of course, I'm also kind of pissed at Google for selling my soul to the NSA and stuff like that. You know how it is, once you get betrayed by a company it just starts to snowball.

Yeah, I should have taken it to r/android or whatever.

Well yeah, Google likes to spread propaganda that trashes their competitors, and you fell for their marketing campaign. The basic fact is Apple passing messages through Google's servers would make Apple user data far less secure. And Apple makes most of its money selling high priced products, where Google makes most of their money selling your data. It makes no sense for Apple to betray their user base like that, when privacy is one of their main selling points.

Indexing has nothing to do with CPU power. It’s all about optimizing a users restore with the updated OS, recompiling new and old data files to ensure smooth operation this process no matter how fast a CPU does indeed take time. Indexing has and always will be a thing, it’s been proven time and time again and can take from a day to roughly a week depending on how large a restore the user is coming from or if the device is setup as new.
