No, it’s using bluetooth the same. I had access to it for a few days before it broke. It’s pretty mediocre imo.

I had a Sony as well. Worked good for the first couple months then got really slow, apps crashed a lot. I’d have to restart the tv more often than I’d like to. Bought an Apple TV

Apple provides APIs that let you send/receive messages.

The only limitation afaik is that you can’t send attachments.

What you said just makes no sense. I just said what they always say on YouTube videos, comment section. I also own (and use) one Samsung, on pair with my 14 pro max. I never said I’m Apple fan boy, just that phones nowadays are good to go out of the box, there’s no indexing thing. Watch some videos about s23 ultra and check the comment section, you will see some people talking about ‘2 weeks later my phone will be better, learning pattern, bla bla’ I just gave the Samsung example because it’s where I see most of those comments. And that’s just myths. 😉

Get it now …otherwise in a year from your purchase something screws up or ya damage it somehow and you’ll wonder why you didn’t get AppleCare+

Keep in mind that requirement is just written on paper. People have used it on older Intel and even AMD CPUs just fine.

I've had my iPhone 8 for at least 2 years w/o a case. It works "just fine".

I have AppleCare. Used it once. The battery was swelling. Don't recall it costing a thing.

I wouldn't use a case. Others might.
