Intel unison already allows you to connect with the iPhone. But I’ll welcome this too

Reply to call recorder for iPhone by Yuv774
Don't think it can be done in software on iPhone so break out the lightning to 3.5mm adapter and connect it to Y splitter one leg goes to an old 3.5mm AirPods/headset with microphone and the other leg to a recorder. Possible yes, convenient nope.

I clean it at least once a week, and that is when I noticed the small gray dots.

Reply to comment by A7ce in [Discussion] I was wondering, how would a design idea (both hardware wise and software wise) would be that could conveniently with one thumb face could take a screen shot? by A7ce
Can you provide context as to the “why”? What is the actual problem you’re trying to solve? If you’re asking people to consider “energy efficiency” in relation to a mechanism for taking a screenshot with one physical button, it sounds like a needlessly over engineered solution.
The buttons you’re referring to already do more than one function. The button that turns the device on is also used to activate Siri. The buttons used to control volume are also used to take pictures. Together, these buttons take screenshots, power down the phone, etc.
The fastest method is for there to be a dedicated, physical screenshot button.
If you needed to do one-thumb screenshot taking with existing hardware, my solution would be to use the power/Siri button with a click-long hold press (imagine the same method for bringing up a card for ApplePay but the second click is held until the screenshot is taken.

😅 Sorry. I have edited my question. Please have a look.
Thumb face was from the reference of; if the mechanism could somehow recognize it being a more of a flat surfaced press rather than a tap.

Damn, and the thing is I never drop this phone. Same case and protector from day 1. I take it out of case to clean and get dust off. That sucks

The back glass of the Pro line is matte. That logic doesn’t hold up.

You're correct. I listened to the ticking sound through my Blue Yeti and it sounds the same as the rest of the glas.
My bad.

I’ve been waiting for this for iPhone for ages. Now I can play shit and just put this on another screen or whatever without having to always have my phone in hand. GF won’t be mad anymore

I charge it when I go to bed every night or every other night (sometimes on day 2 it'll need plugged in by evening). When it's nightly the battery is usually at 30-40% left from being unplugged at 100% in the morning before work.
Average SOT according to settings is 5 hours between charges (so 70% drain to 5 hours of screen time)

An ez way to find out. Just check it with your theets. And u will se it is real glass. And for pro models the back is mate and the cmaera island is clear finish. It’s a design particularity. Just like a color contrast.

I don't have any paint chipping on mine. If you are using a case, sometimes this happens if you let small particles get between the phone and the case.
