What I’m saying is that their concern isn’t that far fetched

Agreed that ProMotion is more important. However, I do find the Dynamic Island to be useful. For example, I like to drive with my phone on a MagSafe mount and leave Spotify pulled up so I can browse playlists, but I use GPS a lot. Dynamic Island will show me the next turn I should make from Apple Maps and the distance so I don’t even have to leave Spotify.

Cable and adapter are different things. This is a samsung adapter which only connects the cable to phone and electrical supply. I understand where you're coming from but OP wants to know if adapter is safe, in which it is as long as the apple certified cable fits.

The way Apple designs iPhones makes it so using a non Apple certified cable can actually damage the iPhone charging circuit. So I see where they’re coming from

If you are getting iPhone 14 plus, might as well get iPhone 14 pro max…better battery and features for just a few extra bucks.

I like Airpods pro for working out or running. Maybe to watch some videos with spatial audio here and there. But only for less than $200. Sometimes on Amazon you can find them.

Yes, it goes to factory. But it remains locked to you so no-one can use it. So if stolen, don’t give them that privilege or using it. Do not remove from iCloud Just grab a pc, go to icloud.com and then find-my and you will find the commands there.

Yeah only because they were forced to not because they're doing it for the good of the environment. They should've implemented USB-C years ago.

But it’s only even available in a few select countries, so what difference is it really making?
Edit: Basically just the US….

It must have something to do with a combination of your location (background location services/gps + the date/time settings for your phone) and whatever energy grid info it can pull to make an educated guess for electricity in your area 🤷🏻♀️
Not sure entirely how it works but that’s my guess 😅

I’m also running 16.3.1 in SEA - maybe it’s location based?

Cheap iPhone just for calls?
Hey everyone, I'm looking for an affordable option to use as a backup phone, to make and receive calls, I won't be using it for social media since I have my main phone (optional, if I still can use some basic ones i.e Whatsapp, but it can be left out), and don't care about 5G support, because I can use 2G, 3G and 4G with my carrier.
I really liked the iPhone 5s design, if that helps, and you think it's still an option, but I don't mind on getting a larger screen (such as an 6 or 6s) also, I'm looking to spend less than $100 USD, maybe I can find something in good shape and decent battery health.
I'll be reading your suggestions.

Look into Bowers and Wilkins IP7 true wireless. Incredible buds that have been reviewed to have better connectivity over the AirPods. Bluetooth ratings i slightly lower though I believe.
