Restore mode doesn’t always mean it was stolen.
Have your carrier check the imei to confirm, but on that phone, holding down power after quickly pressing and releasing up and down volume will do a restore.

I’ve had this a couple of times, with an iPhone and an Apple Watch.
They’ve been great both times, but from the varied experiences I’ve heard, you may need to get the right person at the right time.

Just upgraded to a 13 from a 2020 SE specifically so I can take better pictures of products for my business. Up close to a few feet back. Occasional video, but mostly indoors without professional lighting. Mostly quick pictures for social media, but also proper shots for website use.
I…. HATE the loss of my home button. I constantly switch between apps and use the lower screen function because I use it one handed. I’m hitting buttons on the lower part of the screen when I’m reaching to the top. I am just not getting along with this thing at all. Will I notice a difference in camera clarity if I go down to a 22 SE? If I do that would it have been worth upgrading from my ‘20 at all?

Wow. Apple fixed something for free? And we’re complaining?

They had one of those Star Wars BB-8s (or whatever… the uniball with a “head) running around. It was pretty fun to watch.

No.
The first iPhone to be able to connect to 4G is the iPhone 5. You're better off buying a newer iPhone that do support 4G.

Why am I getting downvoted?!?! I am so confused. I get that this is Reddit but these are not only pulled directly from GSMArena but they ALSO show that I was indeed incorrect.....

If you are in the US, all major carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile have shit down their 3G networks.

You can pick up the 2020 SE for $150 if you get a plan with a prepaid carrier. Have the service for 3 months and cancel. It will be unlocked and your to use wherever you want. This is a great device and the form factor is still a winner in my book.

It should be able to connect to Wi-Fi just fine, but it won’t be able to utilize the faster download speeds.

I had multiple issues with multiple repairs of my G4 laptop forever ago. The genius finally said to me, “You’ve been really patient with this . How about a new laptop.” It was an upgrade due to the age so… thank you genius.
This was so far back we were the only ones in the store half the time. I miss those days.

it happened to me a few years ago, the battery needed replacing, they came out an hour later and said the phone was shorted out and they were replacing it, but it still worked and they helped me move everything over and I left with a new phone for free.

I once had the “No Service” bug on an iPhone 7 and had to have the logic board replaced for free under warranty. It also had a faulty charging port that moved around and a battery at 91% health. Apple sent it out for repair and it came back with a new screen, new logic board, new battery, and new charging port. All for free. Got a similar invoice to what you got.

This happened to me in January for a screen replacement at the Apple Store.
The technician stripped a screw so they gave me a brand new identical phone.

Just check ebay - any that have a good amount of ratings and also ship from USA (assuming your location). There are other sim types as well - a few on Amazon- probably not a bad option since you can easily return if doesn't work for you.
I'm using a mint sim and can get everything working, BUT MMS - I think something is blocking the iPhone from getting the MMS settings that mint pushes to your iPhone. And there's no option to manually input the settings either.

Warranty was out of the question. I was willing to pay as well. I even asked him to ask a manager because it didn't make sense to me especially if I'm paying.
