To me it was, but it’s because downloading the beta from a “stable” release is the closest thing to flashing the device with new software without totally restoring it and I didn’t want to go through the trouble of setting up my iPhone from scratch. I’m either going to stay on this software until iOS 17 or move to the stable release of iOS 16.4, depending on what people say when it releases.

so is it worth the beta? i “unsubscribed” from the beta when ios 16 was in beta, as it literally destroyed my phone and i had to have a tech store downgrade it and reset it for me haha

I’m in Aus and the prompt is only there for 30 days. I bought mine a week or so ago now and it says I only have 18 days left to add.

They know that if you save all your passwords on "iCloud" it means that you are less likely to switch to another device. It's mechanism of making you dependent on Apple. Never let your passwords go to a specific vendor, it's nefarious.

Apple specifically makes it very difficult to move passwords outside of iCloud, there are no migration tools and all that work will have to be done by hand, one by one. Dont use that shit and don't fall for it.

PS. I am in a region that doesn't have an Apple store, just an official reseller, and I set the region of my icloud to my country. Maybe there's gonna be an option for apple care+ if I change the region, but then will I be able to use apple care if needed???

SMS will go to any phone you have the SIM card in. But if you have iMessage activated on an iPhone other apple devices will recognize that and send iMessages to that device in place of SMS

You will have to have all iMessages go to the iPhone or none. You’ll have to turn iMessage off on the phone and all messages will come though to flip phone but as an sms instead.

I have rugged a case, just to make the phone bigger! I have bigger hands and putting a case on the phone helps reduce the thumb typos for me as well as comfort. Odd yes, but works for me.
