Divorce is the only option here.

Kidding, kidding.

My friend is in one of these mixed-tech marriages and they use Google Photos. His wife (the iPhone user) has it on her iPhone and she's able to upload photos to shared albums to share with him. If you're just texting photos and videos back and forth you can also use something like WhatsApp, Signal, or Google Meet.

What case are you using? Some cases, like the Otterbox Defender, don’t allow phones to cool properly. Are you using Wi-Fi or cellular with your video calls (which are processor intensive which also causes heat) - cellular modems are power and processor hungry and can get your phone quite warm very quickly when doing video calls.

Every time I see this asked, the person asking gets highly-upvoted answers that are complete bullshit. You want a real answer?

YouTube stores all of their video files and audio files separately. It's a clever way of saving server space—you can have all of the different video files (at a bunch of different resolutions and video codecs), and then a few audio files (at different bitrates and formats), and then on the fly pick the best video file for the user, pick the best audio file for the user, and play them back at the same time. For example, here's all the individual files that YouTube generates/stores for the Costa Rica video from your post.

In a browser, YouTube uses Media Source Extensions which allows them to combine those video and audio streams, and do things like let you switch resolution without the video stopping (or even dynamically switch the resolution based on available bandwidth without interrupting the video.)

Safari on iOS doesn't support Media Source Extensions. So in addition to the multitude of individual video-only and audio-only streams YouTube generates, they also generate a few versions that include both the video and audio in one file—but only up to 720p. That's why Safari only shoes those options, it's all it's capable of playing, because there's no assembly needed by the browser. (Interestingly, Media Source Extensions is implemented in Safari on iPadOS, which is why you'll see more resolution options there.)

I literally took a double Apple UberEats order yesterday to the customers and when I went to the apple store they already had all my information in their system that I was picking up, so the apple store the driver stole from has his information.. anyways, I always delivery so carefully but they don’t really package it any different, they just hand me a bag with an ipad box in it out in the open so i have to be extra careful to lock my car and hide the other delivery when I get out to deliver the first order, because man that’s scary having to be on the line for apple products when you signed up to deliver food. not to mention, it was terribly snowy where i live and the roofs of buildings are melting I had to hold the apple bags under my jacket so they wouldn’t get dropped on by the immense amount of snow melt happening, it’s all around a mess, but I would never dream of stealing a customers order let alone a technology/apple order, that’s insanity and they have his name and drivers license number and such so I wonder why they haven’t got the person yet?
