I have a 13 mini and 13 Pro. I'm going to be selling the pro after using it for a year. At first it was super noticeable but after time the 60hz didn't feel unusable. I have a high refresh rate gaming monitor and can 100% tell the difference between something running at 60hz vs 144hz, but for me on the phone it's not a deal breaker, even though when I first got the pro I thought I'd never be able to go back. Hopefully that helps.

This will definitely help you out. Uninstall video streaming and audio streaming apps and see. After that reinstall them and use them again.

No no no don’t worry about that. I had already XS Max with pretty good(even repair point said that) LCD replaced screen and I will definitely know it’s not OG Oled screen. Btw I also service phones(for now Android only) at home since few years so I know many things about smartphones.

The “Top Conversations” part actually contains the Videos etc as well I’m pretty sure.

So it’s even less than 11GB, wonder where it comes from.

JS is making a comeback but is slow and uses lots of memory. JS is no-bueno for mobile phones so is limited. To understand the needs, firefox uses it Gecko engine, Chrome and Edge (new 2022) uses Chromium, safari used WebKit… all of them are open source. But which one fill your needs? To me, gecko is the best for pc. I find chrome very limited compared to Firefox. And edge… im glad the Microsoft framework was abandoned in favor of chromium, that makes edge more in-par for standards. WebKit is great, and has all the features as well, but not compared to gecko. In the mobile world, we need to understand that a mobile phone runs on battery and has no fan, all browsers are lite or Watered down. WebKit for apple and chrome for android will not run JS or full python for example… is just common sense.

I think tomorrow after work I will visit they point and make few questions about it. I mean what exactly procedures they make and what components they use(on they site they say only OG but well… it’s not whole screen so it could be not OG.

For me it’s more noticeable when I pick up an older device and it seems less smooth. Otherwise I feel that’s not enough to upgrade for as some claim to not notice at all.

The top part says it’s using 44GB. The list of items adds up to 11GB. What’s unclear is where the additional 33GB of storage used is coming from.
