I've had Samsung for years and was an iphone hater. When the S22 came out I wasn't excited about it and said screw it and traded in my s21 ultra and grabbed an iphone 13 pro. Gotta say I like it a lot. Samsung had me feeling like I needed to upgrade every year, all the promotion and trade in deals. I don't get that from Apple it's kind of refreshing.

You will hate the battery life of the mini (or at least you’ll allways think „dang it I should have gotten the one with more battery life“) and you will get used to to bigger phone in no time.

Frankly speaking, the 6.1 models aren’t really that big. They are one handed operateable (is this really a word?) in 98% of the time.

If you are unsure, go to your next Apple Store and fiddle around with the devices.

Imma be biased, but I for myself NEED the bigger (aka plus/max) screen (and the battery life! It is so quality of life that i do not need to think about the battery for 2 days straight), but sometimes (not often though) I dig the small form factor of my work 13 vanilla. It has just about the right size and isn’t to big for your pockets. I surely can fit my 14 plus in my pockets but the difference in size is significant.

Regarding the mini, I think that it is comically small - WAY too small for a device which primary function is you staring at things it shows you on his display. And as I said: battery life is abysmal :/

I have the 12 Mini and love it, but don't play games or things like that. You'd probably want to go with the iPhone 13, as the screen size is identical to the XR, but has a better battery.

Just get the Apple battery pack. I had a Belkin Magsafe charger until I found out my sister threw it away. It’s honestly the best one for battery health.

I got spoiled for Christmas this year and my wife got me a pair. I would never have bought them for myself because of the price, but I must admit that I have used them every single day since I unboxed them and I wouldn’t want to go a day without them. The mic does a pretty good job at clarity and noise cancellation for voice recording/calls and, from my research, the comparable wireless Jabra headsets used in call centers aren’t far ahead, if at all. Plus no dongle.

Sorry, I may have been misinformed about the negative effects of wireless charging, but apples magsafe charges with optimized charging charging will keep your battery life healthy for longer. Although, I would stick to trusted brands. I think the main issue when charging is that some wireless charges tend to generate more heat when charging which is bad for the battery health.
