The 14 Pro is a great phone but definitely heavier as well. Take into consideration if you’ll be buying a case and/or screen protector as well. Also, read the fine print and make sure the iPhone 12 is included in the $1000 off. I’ve been screwed over by that before. I was assured a particular phone qualified but later found out it wasn’t.

This is false. Android supports heic. Heic is the format my pictures are saved in.

13 pro vs 14 pro better overall performance? I’m currently on the iPhone 11 had it since 2019. Looking to upgrade. The biggest thing that makes me wanna go with the 13 pro is the physical SIM card. How is the E sim on the 14 while traveling? I have Verizon and they don’t have the best travel plan which is why I liked a physical SIM card because I can prepay my data and add it whenever I want.

I feel like several can mean up to six or seven… so I would imagine a 7 year old iPhone wouldn’t be supported anymore

That really sucks that that happened to you. Unfortunately in all the terms and agreements any compensation really comes down to fixing the product and they they are very specific that compensation will not exceed the cost of the product. Loss of data or time is never covered by any tech company and I don’t know of anyone that’s been able to get around that. Even if you were able to file a successful suit against Apple you’d have a lot to prove which may not be provable. The first would be proving you had automatic updates turned off. After that you’d have to prove what all you lost in the way of money by missing your flight. Even then, they’ll probably state that any disputes have to go to arbitration. In days like today with all the technology we have and how much we rely on it, things are occasionally going to go wrong. It’s one of the reasons my wife prints out every boarding pass, hotel confirmation, car rental confirmation, etc. before we travel.

IPhone images are a special format unsupported by Android. Try saving the image as jpg.

$29 with AppleCare+, $279 without AppleCare. If you do not have AppleCare, it would be cheaper to get it replaced at a third party phone repair shop rather than to get it fixed by Apple.
