Good book, his later edition with the added foreword is nice too but not enough to specifically search for if you have one of the earlier publishings already.

I did a favorite pass time on day off and went to used bookstores , and came up with "The Strange Case of Jim Crow" by Yale University Historian C.Vann Woodward ,maybe the best known writer of the deep south USA ,from the American Civil War onward.. "The Historical Bible of the Civil Rights Moveement"is what Dr. King said of this book

So is America directly responsible for the Taliban, Al Qaeda and 9/11?

Agreed! Those books are incredible. I also highly recommend Rick Atkinson's "Liberation Trilogy". It follows the US Army's campaigns in North Africa, Sicily/Italy, and Western Europe.

Most of the time France is supporting the power in place (even if dictator) they don't stage that much coups in africa. They mosty corrupt the gouvernement it's less expensive than find a new one. And coup are bad for business.

Hello Amazon? Yeah, the drone went super sonic and slammed into my porch at 1,000 MPH. Going to need a refund on those headphones.

I thought I might mention in connection to "The World on Fire "" recently Anthony Beevor wrote "Russia -Revolution and Civil War 1917-1921" I haven't read it yet but Beevor is an excellent historian who presents the facts very fairly.

The board of directors require bonuses, as well. Those yachts won’t pay for themselves.

I mean that increased productivity and profitability has to go somewhere! And we know that’s not to the people actually generating that profit 😂
