Watch this sound demo video of all 3 : 560s, 600 and 660s, https://youtu.be/ewxiL_8H8d4
and let me know which one u like most. 560s is actually most clear sounding, but people praise 600 too much for that ‘meat’ they have. 560s is half the price and after EQ, it sound better than the 600

What pads? I have tried pad rolling on the 6x0 series before and it never sounded good. The mids are the first thing to go.

You should’ve bought the 560s instead, amazing deal for that price, sounds clearer than headphones 2-3x its price, altho some people say it sound too flat and thin, but it can be EQed for marvellous results

My GF prefers those with upgraded pads instead of the 560S, the bass is sure fun when amped up

Thank you! And yeah the music sounds great man. I’m kind of blown away these were only around $150 for how nice they sound, but then again I am just a noob lol.

DAP performance became bastardized when audiophiles started to want portability. Now if a DAP doesn't power 300 ohm fullsize cans while playing 4k video from Youtube, it's a non-starter. And DAP-makers are happy to oblige.

Nothing beats the experience of a well matched hi-fi system in an acoustically well treated room. But yeah, you are correct. You need to invest in a lot of money, time and effort to get high end sound. Headphones are intimate, less prone to listening environment, cheaper and all but, I still prefer the music as if I stand in front of the musicians

Hey welcome to the club, before you go to deep make sure to always remember that your supposed to enjoy the music not the headphone so if the music sounds great and they’re comfortable then don’t stress about spending a ton of money.

Open backs for gaming is so so good. I really don't understand why none of the Gaming headsets aren't in on it yet. The soundscape you get is great for immersion. You only lose on some bass, but if you aren't playing like War Thunder, you barely have much bass anyways.

Thanx :)
After testing I would request you to get back to me if you don't mind :) I actually am a bit confused as mentioned earlier. Would love to hear your experience on these grounds . Also did you use auto EQ on these pairs? I tried today the sound became extremely muffled....

Reply to Are the HyperX Cloud II/Core worth 30€ more than the CloudX? by Salt_Violinist9321
The cloud 2 was on sale for much less a while ago if I remember correctly. It's definitely worth it, but not for 80€ I would say. The fake surround sound sucks, stereo sound is solid (but as with any gaming headset it's far from good or great, but still quite a bit better than most other gaming branded products).
The cloud 2 should last for a while though, so even at 80€ it's probably fine. I'd say read a bit into how the sound of any of those models is. That's the most important part. Then you can decide.
I personally would save up for one of the cheaper Sennheiser open backs, slap a modmic on that and call it a day.
