This post has been removed. Please note the following rule:

>Rule 7: Ask tech support and general questions in the Shopping and Setup Help Desk at https://reddit.com/r/headphones/about/sticky > > Requests for tech support and general setup help must be made in the dedicated Shopping and Setup Help Desk instead of a new post. Quick questions that don't necessitate a post also go there.

Have you contacted the manufacturer?

  • You should. For product support, please first contact the manufacturer. Reddit can't do much about broken or faulty products.

Why does this rule even exist?

  • In short, this is a large subreddit with a high volume. We want to help, but it's important to keep things organized to keep the sub fun. Thanks for your understanding.

What if the link doesn't work?

  • The post can usually be found on the top r/headphones, and titled Shopping and Setup Help Desk.

opened a random AK player, 20 hours.
But you have to realize people these days demand super high res screen, super high res dac and whatever else components, all of that needs energy.

Same with phones. Yes of course your nokia 3310 lasted a week, but you played a little snake on it and that's it. Now you watch 4k midget porn for hours daily.

For 500$ you can get a rock to sit on your amp and improve sound, I cant tell if the person is running a scam or if this is like satire lmao

Some eye candy that might also be the best setup I've ever heard. Zmf Verite Closed Stabilized with a custom and rare Woo Audio WA4 amp. Soundstage is so good that it makes no sense for a closed back headphone. Also very comfortable for being that big. The amp doubles as a space heater and is powerful enough to properly drive an he6se. Very powerful and clean sound with some tube euphonics and roundness to the notes without losing any bass extension (treble might be reduced a bit, I need to listen more critically). Hopefully this is endgame... for now.

Well i have no idea where you searched or what your budget is, but after a quick look i found this 90€ one with 35 hours of advertised playtime: https://geizhals.at/sony-nw-e393-4gb-schwarz-a1400537.html?hloc=at&hloc=de&hloc=eu&hloc=pl&hloc=uk

I have no idea if this is a good deal or not tho, i have absolutely no experience in that space, and i normally just use my phone

Those headphones are not that hard to drive. You should get very listenable volume from your pc's headphone jack (these days), probably higher volume than you'd ever be comfortable listening to them. Audio quality might not be the best of the best, but if you're not in the market for an external dac/amp, you should be fine with mobo.

I'm exactly the same and unfortunately I'm yet to find a definitive "all-rounder" IEM.

I haven't had the chance to listen to other US$500 IEMs than the Variations, but in my research everyone always ends at the "ten US$50 IEMs are better than a single US$500 one" argument (at least in frequency response, and not in "technicalities").
