I do my studies in public spaces that already have an appropriate sound floor (talking, ac, etc.) for me to use open back headphones without disturbing others.

Plus im not blasting them, I often listen at low volumes.

I hit IEM endgame really quickly with Timeless, S12 + Qudelix then Z12 + Qudelix (broke timeless lost S12 + Qudelix).

I knew it wasn’t worth the slow upgrade path so for headphone I started at HD600, and ordered Arya Stealth along with 2 more Qudelix and 2.5mm cables.

Funny thing is I’m tempted to buy a set of KZ Ling Long as a tiny open back iem with Wu Zetian like tuning fascinated me.

Now you have a sweet pair of Katamari cans.

I love my Zen Dac but when I look at everyone else zen and have that Hi Res sticker I look at mine like its counterfeit... Even though its authenticated and was from an authorized seller xD

I had that amp, sounded good. But, I read somewhere that it isn't a true balanced output and is nothing more than an alternate output for a balanced connector. I didn't look into it but that's what I heard.

HE6se V2. Absurd fidelity, great tuning so easy to EQ to perfection and dynamic beyond anything I've heard. The only headphone I would take over them so far is the LCD-5.

grado rs2's that i bought from a garage sale. old dude was pretty nice about it too. best C$70 i ever spent. i still use it... went and sold my hd600+darkvoice tube amp and just kept a dongle and the grados.. they still work real fine despite the thick cables.

The headphone outputs on power amplifiers are often garbage. Like a $1-3k amp can have a headphone output that has nothing on an Apple dongle except maybe output power.
