So Raycon's grift is ordering cheapo, low-quality, white-label buds from China with their logo slapped on, then using the power of YouTube marketing to charge people who aren't aware of this a huge mark-up. In general, if someone is trying to sell a physical product to you over YouTube ads, you're best off saying no.

You're in luck, I also have both the DT770's on hand as well as the DT990's. I just spent the last 20 minutes scrutinizing all 3, and I would say the 990's are a teensy bit wider than my 6XX, but the 770 is a bit narrower than my modded 6XX. (No EQ or Crossfeed)

I would add though, that in my possibly biased opinion, my 6XX's now respond well to crossfeed in the L and R channels. I've sometimes played sound in them thinking my monitor speakers were on instead!

I feel like the diminishing returns set in very fast. If you have a “normal income” you can do extremely well for not a lot of money.

I love high end gear. I love reading about it and messing around with it, but never have I gone to a high end show and thought THIS room is 1000x better than mine. I’d rather have my room/headphone setup and say….a vacation home or a Porsche

Edit: but that’s me. Props and respect to the guys out there pushing the limits

I've got the 2017 white black Friday ones with the black screws. Honestly no clue what the tuning is on them since they made so many varients even during that time and no one really made a formal frequency chart of them. For some reason, the QC was weird so the left piece with a thinner coat of paint has a lot of paint chipped off while the right side looks like it has a second/third coat with barely any paint missing.

I got these at thrift store and love them! They are Panasonic SL-SX400 CDP and Sennheiser MX400 earphones, both in great condition. I bet most of you audio enthusiasts have tried cdp back in the days, but if you haven't, they sound very good. Most of them including mine has powerful headphone amps, and I could even rock my hd560s with 50% volume. Of course they are not hi-fi level of sound but it is very enjoyable. If you never experienced them, I highly recommend to try it out.
