Well, if the price is in consideration, then something like a used Element II(250$~) would be a great choice, as I know, Element III has options for you to switch between speakers and headphones by pressing the knob or button at the back of the device, the main killer feature is a BIG knob, it's so good, that after using this knob, you will not want to get back to other devices, I can recommend it definitely for build quality and user experience

Probably should’ve asked the sub before buying… but if you think they sound good then that’s all that matters. If you could do it all over, all you really need is Senny HD560s and the AirPod Pro 2.

Huh? It at least made a bit of sense if the senn were an upgrade from the AKG, but not the opposite, the K52/72/92 line is an actual dumpster fire.

>worries, everything was less than 100 bucks

Still respect your choices if you're happy with the equipment, but, even those "400 bucks" comments aside, the headphones you bought are all considered mediocre at best in their own price ranges, with those $100 you could've gotten some creative aurvana live and some ksc75 / kph30i, along with the kz (keeping the kz since a lot of people start with those bc dankpods, and maybe you bought them before the big sub $20 Iem improvements that came after the moondrop chu)

But yeah, i would honestly just return the k72 if it's not too late

IDK about the AKG's & the Senny's but I'll swap the KZ with the Linsoul 7HZ Salnotes or CrinxTruthear Zero, the airpods are not my favourite, but nothing beats the practicality of Bluetooth, anyways, hope you enjoy your purchase

You're welcome:-)

The reason such tiny our even immeasurable differences can work for us is psychological. Because the sound entering our ears is extremely complex, what our brain can do to reduce it to individual instruments, melody, sense of rhythm and even sense of sound quality is astonishing. We can't remember so much detail. When we expect a difference, we trick our minds to analyze the sound again and we can make new notions about the sound. Sound doesn't change (or changes very little), but we do.

Try to visualize how the palm of your hands looks like, for example. Then look at it and compare to what you imagined. The difference in the level of detail between our memory and the real- time emotive experience is crazy. If someone told you're developing some mild skin condition, how easy would it be for you to find something in that picture that is different to what you remember?

Return everything but airpods, use the money to go towards dt990s or 1990s or hd600s. You have some good starters, but you'll quickly get tired and work your way to these. Personally have 1990s and love them, but we're all subjective to sound so you need to find what you like.

My collection is in the flair + Samson SR850 and 7Hz Salnotes Zero. If I could keep one headphones & one iem, it'd be.. HE400se and XM4, I guess. I like the Zero, but where I work & commute, the seal on the Zero just doesn't cut it.
