Battery life in terms of hours of use between charging is pretty solid, for the size of the battery.
Given the physical size of the battery, there's claims that the lifetime use would be a couple of years at best.

Bloated bass leaking well into the mids, incredibly reduced treble, I'd avoid it unless you absolutely know you want that tuning.

I went with utws5, 2 pin. It's a bit restrictive in terms of which IEMs have a good fit/comfort even with MMCX to 2 pin connectors. I moved to letshouer s12 pro for this.
If you have multiple IEMs/headphones you want to shuffle between, BTR5 is better.
I also find that there's some variation in comfort between the two ears(could be my ears too, but I don't think so) . Basically fit and comfort aren't down to the IEM alone.

Seems a bit pricy. On the other hand, if he did take care of them they'll be fine. Do you want a quad BA?

wow, the graph is...something...

I'd recommend going with something like Truthear Hexa instead

Reply to New favorite budget phones - FAAEAL Rosemary by nodemms
i've been using the rosemary with a kuangpai player dac dongle that sports an ess es9218p chip for a while. i found the bass to have the biggest presence while the mids and highs are laid back. still i quite like them for music listening. for fps gaming they are average.
though recently the dongle has had connection issues, i switched to a cx31993 dongle and now the rosemary sound a little more balanced in comparison

But your definitely right, it says a lot that this is the only new headphone, you don’t have to pay tax on, because the tax is so high, that it’s worth it and possible to not pay for them. Also just a side fact, there was nothing that ever compared to these until I got a pair of mysphere used, I don’t have that kind of money. They are so amazing, but it also has been 4 years since I tried the Orpheus, so that’s definitely not fair to compare. All I’m trying to say is that I don’t want or need them anymore, until I hear them again, lol

I broke like 4 pairs of PortaPros during ~12 years. I've fixed them several times using parts from fallen ones and ordered spare headband form local flea market site. I saw all parts are available on AliExpress including MMCX-ed speakers.

Yep, exactly that’s why you hear sometimes that they cost 50k and sometimes that their 60k. The Wayne told me was btw to buy 2 plane tickets round trip, one for you, one for your marble box. Also probably one for the guy that carries it for you, it’s heavy.

I have just one earphone that's 2 pin (the Truthear x Crinacle Zero) and that's my daily driver especially for my usecase (i.e., gaming), it's 0.78 so it won't cause any compatibility issues with the tws module.
But my problem is so weird, I usually get downvoted to hell for this.
Pro's of the UTSW5:
it supports Aptx Adaptive so I don't need to buy a transmitter for low latency on my phone (phone has aptx adaptive) I need this coz I like to play mobile fps shooters (rip apexM)
TWS, convenience (helps me hide that I'm a boomer, audio snob)
Pro's of BTR5
Repairability: this is huge for me as the price of both is way too much for me, it won't turn into e-waste after the battery dies.
Codec: Although my phone doesn't have Aptx LL, if I buy an aptx ll transmitter it will be far superior to the above aptx adaptive setup, which is slower. Although it's just 20-40ms difference, it's a lot noticable in shooting games
TLDR: codecs and repairability
