Hold it and power it -

Not as good as your first set of cans.

Measure and A/B it -

It will not long survive in your stash.

When headphones and amps fill your listening space,

They cannot all be enjoyed.

Riches and pride

Can never be quenched.

Withdrawing when listening is done:

Headphone Tao.

It's more like whenever someone recommends a headphone around 150$-ish price it's always logitech or astro And I heard that it offers more precise sound positioning over other headphones, but I couldn't find actual comparisons So it felt like it doesn't really mean a lot more than a marketing thing that's why I'm asking

Zune gets shit on, but goddamn I loved my OG brown Zune when I was a teen. I have so much to thank that thing for. Not least of which is that it introduced me to metal, which became my favorite genre. If anyone had the OG Zune, it was preloaded with several music videos and one of them was All That Remains.

There is nothing inherently "gaming" about a gaming headphone (Maybe weird RGB or poorly implemented surround sound). It's essentially a regular headphone with a microphone attached to it. It's not worth to pay the premium for the gamer aesthetic (for me at least), unless you are into that kind of thing.

I mean, that's a low bar.

How about your phone?

If you don't have a headphone jack on yours, the Apple 3.5mm to usb C dongle is cheap and very good.

Otherwise what you're looking for is generally called a "DAP", which just means digital audio player. They basically all should have the features you're looking for.

A Xudoo X2S for example does the trick just fine and costs little money.

I don’t have time to waste with imperfect drivers so I run the cables directly into my eardrums. Just gotta get some melted gold dropped in there for a better connection now.

A phone with a jack, and the headphone cable could have physical control buttons. I have this combo and it's the best. The buttons on the headphone cable are easy to access.

I've got a sony Xperia 5 II (has a sd slot), and a pair of fiio fh5, and a pair of bullets from the one plus 3. They do their job.

There's mmcx or 2pin cables that have control buttons and a microphone too.

I've got an app for music, one for podcasts. The podcast one can resume any audio from the last played position.
