People just have very different opinions, I don't know. All "audiophiles" say that using surround sound is shit, however, there are reviews like this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/v9rvx2/sennheiser_hd560s_for_gaming_music/

Pretty much saying, directional pin-point is not great. I have no idea, what to trust... And buying/returning the item takes a lot of time, since I'm buying from amazon.de.

I actually loled at this, I love it.

For those who don't know, the original verse was something to the effect of "Others are clever, I alone am stupid," depending on the translation. I don't know, the juxtaposition of being headphoneless and being dull witted is somehow funny to me.

>"I only have two sets of headphones, I'm such an asshole."

Ah yes il just save up that 30 euro every month for 5 years and just not listen to music until i can buy something without cheaping out. Actually more than 5 years. Anything but an HE-1 would be cheaping out i guess.

Banish upgrades,

No More grief.

Between mid-fi and summit-fi,

how much difference?

Between Crinacle and Zeos,

how much difference?

What others hear I must hear --

How pointless!

Commenters are wreathed in superlatives,

As if at a carnival banquet.

I alone am passive,

Giving no sign,

Like an infant who has not yet smiled.

Forlorn, as if I have no headphones.

Others have twenty or thirty cans,

I alone have two.

I have the mind of an amp skeptic,

Confused, confused.

Others like bright sound signatures,

I alone like dark, dark.

Drifting on my FLACs,

Listening endlessly.

Others have upgrade plans,

I alone am wayward and stubborn,

I alone am different than others,

Like a baby who has reached endgame.

I feel the same way about video games. I follow lots of reviewers (such as Jeff Gerstmann). My preferences do not often align with his, but he has reviewed so many games that I can use his perspective as a baseline to determine if I’ll enjoy the game or not. The important thing is that the reviewer is consistent and transparent with their methods and biases.

I remember when crinacle opened a stream ranking stuff. It was IEF + harman targets overlayed and he was going through the squigs and then ranking them based on memory. I'm not gonna judge this method... But I am not expecting it'll be very different than that.

This is supposed to be a joke, but most of the sub nowadays probably holds this up as gospel. You’re priming them for a life of “Moondrop Chu and apple dongle > anything else. You don’t need an amp to drive HD6XX or Sundara. My PC headphone out is crystal clear with 100% dynamics” behaviors.

If you're talking about open backs then, for me anyways, there is a huge difference between the two. They have different sound signatures. The H6pro is made as a gaming headset with that in mind. The 560S is made to be a studio headphone. The 560S has good soundstage, accurate imaging, and really good detail. If I were to rate the 560S and the H6pro on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd put the 560S at an 8 and the H6pro at a 6. The H6pro open back sounds muddy and the audio feels all jumbled together especially when you're in the middle of a battle and audio is coming from all over the place. The 560S has no issues handling the same situation. There is clear frequency separation and detail for each sound.

Honestly, I suggest you try out a pair of the 560S and see how you feel about them. That's the only way you'll know.

Do you want to improve the audio?

I don’t think it can be done.

The artist's intention is sacred.

It can’t be improved.

If you equalize it, you’ll ruin it.

If you listen for enjoyment, you’ll lose it.

There is a time for hearing the song,

a time for hearing the singer;

a time for listening to the headphones,

a time for listening to the music;

a time for seeking upgrades,

a time for enjoying endgames;

a time for tradition,

a time for time for the new.

without trying to convince others.

She lets them go their own way,

and eats popcorn at the center of the argument.
