Yeah. I guess tha's why the modmic is the standard. In theory you can take the module from a donor set, an jerry-rig it. But that depends if your electronics skills are higher then mine.😊 And how you want it to look ofc.

I'm the exact opposite. I much prefer (almost) every headphone with Oratory's presets than stock. There are a limited few that I would even care to listen without EQ anymore. Which headphones for example and are you sure you level matched? Louder is always better when A/B:ing. Any specific aspect that you didn't enjoy since perhaps dome aspect of Harman is not good for your taste or ear?

To be fair, the elites have some of the best build quality out there, and are extremely comfortable (so are the regular empys). I don't mind paying extra for those things, considering how expensive other stuff in that range is anyway.

Ah, then it could also be the HD400S i.e. the wired version of the BT450 afaik.

Cable connection is certainly better in terms of latency, but modern Bluetooth codecs like LDAC or AptX HD are very good quality wise and virtually indistinguishable from a wired connection.
