Yea, but not from doing a stunt. He was riding his snowmobile up a slope and it rolled over and crushed him. The stunts were incredibly controlled and he had more control of his car while doing these stunts than you do of your own body while walking down the street.

For those who are OOTL (like I was up until a minute ago) the driver, Ken Block, died in a snowmobile accident about a month ago.
