The character animation made me question the characters sexuality. They just look very gender fluid, like they're all bi. There was this one episode where Lion-o had to go through some trials and the first one was he had to get past/satisfy Panthro. I was very young when watching these episodes so it was hard to put these observations into a detailed narrative, but I felt like those two were going to make out at the end of the episode or something. I totally wanted to do Cheetara, though.

It's the same thing with He-Man. Watching the original cartoon as an adult, all the characters look gay as hell, like some gachi muscle bound leather gay club scene. A lot of the camera angles were very suspect too. Like the jump roll into the between the legs landing camera angle. Super gay cartoon.

As a child, the ThunderCats of the 80's were the bomb. Rewatching it... it was awful. It was TV for ADD kids.

"We're going to to the place to do the thing!"

"Are we going to the place to do the thing?"

"Yes, we're going to the place to do the thing!"

"Where should we do the thing?"

"At the place!"

"We're at the place! Now do the Thing!"

Good grief it was hard to rewatch any of this as an adult.

The first episode and premise of the 2011 series was awesome. The animation felt very Avatar: Last Air Bender. The entire setup seemed like it could have been deeply entertaining and nuanced. And then it went to complete shit. They set the stage for some interesting story lines, then just proceeded to shit all over the place. The animation went downhill. The story was bland and uninteresting. Everything just went straight to garbage. I was so displeased.

I mean, for me personally, fibro is only one of several chronic conditions I have to manage in my day-to-day life (others include an inoperable herniated disc, as well as microscopic colitis).

You're right: waking up every day feeling as though you completely overdid it the previous day is hard to live with. Before I realised that caffeine was a massive trigger for my fibro pain, I'd wake up every morning feeling as though I'd been in a car crash. Without caffeine in my diet, I now have daily pain that's somewhere around a 5 out of 10; this is my "business as usual", although I still have flare-ups from time to time.

When you're dealing with one chronic health problem, it's a challenge. When you're dealing with several of them, life is damn near impossible at times.
