There is also the tidbit that the overwhelming majority of mountains are in the west of the country, and I don't know if they are snow-peaked or not. I guess they could be, but they are nowhere near the frontlines and have mostly been spared in terms of carnage and destruction.

Of course everyone interprets it how they want, and this was not to throw a monkey wrench into their version. My immediate guess would have been Alaska, Vorarlberg or Kamchatka, but I haven't been to these places yet.

My one gripe with pixel art animations like this, is they so often include an 'event' that creates a very noticeable loop point, unless the animation is really long. In this case, it's the sun flare, and it detracts from the ability to use them as backgrounds, just in my personal opinion.

Excellent art otherwise!

This reminds me of a series created by a Brazilian Youtuber and Streamer called Cellbit, a series (called the Paranormal Order) that became a famous among Cellbit followers and fans of the Streamers who were part of it.

In short: Paranormal Order is a fictional universe and brand created by Brazilian streamer Cellbit.

Currently, its main branch is the tabletop RPG episodes shown on Saturdays at 6 pm on the Cellbit channel on Twitch. Every Tuesday the reruns take place, at the same time and also on Twitch, and, on Thursdays, the episode was published on Cellbit's Lives channel on YouTube. The Paranormal Order channel was recently created.

Paranormal Order: Enigma of Fear, an exploration game set in the Paranormal Order universe, is slated for release in January 2023.
