i did not make this gif so i don't exactly know how it was made, but i think he may be animating with after effect or premiere pro, and for example, he can make a car, put it 100 pixels away 2 seconde later, and premiere pro will make the car move from the starting point to the end destination. It may have been done like that.

Or he just took a video and used a plugin to make it into pixel art style.

He intentionally missed a free throw in the last few seconds of a game to avoid turning over the ball and then the ball got back to him and he somehow got a bucket to tie the game with one second left, taking the game onto overtime. It was a huge 4D chess move that paid off.

The Mavs were down by 2 with 2 seconds left and he had a free throw, which is only worth 1. So he missed it on purpose and got his own rebound to score a 2 pointer and force OT. This is tried fairly often and almost never works.
