Xenogears- it’s my favorite game of all time and almost like a security blanket because of how familiar it’s become over the last 25 years.
the last of us- allowed my cry for the first time in years creating catharsis.
most of the bethesda games cause they made me feel like someone was listening even if it was random NPCs and dialog was limited

To be fair, for some of us the challenge is part of the escape. But that's the beautiful thing about difficulty modes: a wide range of people can enjoy the game the way they want to.

The outline is basically the same. However there are a lot of differences within that outline from story, gameplay, and level design. Even the familiar areas/segments almost always have a twist to it that keeps you on your toes.

There's some differences, but honestly loved this game the first time through and I'm really enjoying it again.

Is this game different or exactly same as first one just better graphics?

Reply to Is Resident Evil 4 remake a replacement or will you keep playing the original? by LostNDarkness
It's not a replacement because the original game is such a product of its time and will still be played. I see the remake as more of a tribute.

100% replacement. The original's controls have not aged well at all; it's incredibly janky and the newer game has smoothed the controls so it's much nicer.

"And congratulations to our president for life for his landslide win in today's election. Whoops, I accidentally read tommorrow's news. Nevermind! Forget I said anything! Hiyooooo....don't hurt me...."
You downvote, but this is a quote from the game. Because the Monday Night Combat announcer, Mickey Cantor, is probably one of the best things about the game. Hiyoooo!

Definitely a replacement
Will prolly only play the Original out of Nostalgia but that's pretty much it.

Same here. Never liked the original, I'll try this remake after a big discount and work on my backlog.

The last I played and stopped was Lost Ark. Really cool starting experience, but as someone who likes to make alts, that process is a nightmare past your first couple. The forced way of doing quests to level up and only being able to do the end game quests a couple times per character made me lost interest in the game.
The last MMO I played and am still playing is City of Heroes. Been playing this game since launch and I don't think I will ever uninstall it. Too much fun and started playing with my wife as well.

Resident Evil has gotten enough love. Devil May Cry 1 and 2 Remake please.
DMC1 cause it's pretty much the grandfather of all modern stylish action games.
DMC2 cause that game just deserves a second shot at life.
Even better if you can weave them into a single title somehow.

FFXIV. Shadowbringer a real high water mark. I was disappointed with the most recent expansion, Endwalker. It sort of grew on me, but it definitely didn't grab me.
My bigger gripe is with the combat system. Elemental effects are non-existent. Healers are just green damage dealers. Tanks are blue damage dealers. The uniqueness given to jobs was erased when they were simplified and rebalanced. The whole thing is just too simple.
