Keep playing the original. The new mechanics are fantastic but different from the old. The map is also similar but strikingly different and at times remixed. Unless there's a "play the original campaign" mode after beating the new one, there's reason to replay the original.

I do wonder what the remake team is going to work now that RE4 is out. I don't think there is much demand for an RE5 or 6 remake

It would be cool but they’re gonna go in this order… RE1, Revelations 3, Outbreak, RE5, RE0, RE6, RE7, that one RE on the gameboy, and then Code veronica.

There was a sequel. It was called Super Monday Night Combat, released on PC (maybe consoles), and died years ago. It was fun while it lasted and had some cool heroes that I still remember to this day.

I wouldn't be opposed to CV if they announced it, not at allllllll! Just everything seems to be pointing at that they are going with the mainline games, which I would be excited about.

I've played BL2 for 100's of hours and enjoyed every second of it, despite me knowing literally nothing about BL1. It's definitely fine to jump straight into BL2.

Definitely. This was a title i really wanted to enjoy but it just didnt deliver for me. Im a long time RE fan. Especially the first few. Steve has got to be the worst, most annoying character in any resident evil. Lord ashford was a bit annoying as well. A new RE veronica with RE2 remake gameplay, improved voice acting and Steve complete overhaul would be great

I won't help you. I've recently finished the 5th, the remastered trilogy and then the 4th some days ago.

I have to say that I wanted to give up a hundred times. The story is boring, missions are 90% like "kill that guy that you don't know". This is definetly the worst of the post 2000's episodes.

I played SMNC until it essentially died. It was a lot of fun.

Skip BL1, play BL2, then pre sequel. Then if you really need more, consider either going back to BL1 or go to BL3. Just know that both of these options will not be as good as BL2
