I'm purely talking from the perspective of value as a collectors item. Sure, the physical copies will be less common, but it's overall rarity as an item will be lower due to the fact that so many more people own the game digitally. Physical copies got lost, damaged, thrown away, sold, but those were the only way to play the game (emulation clearly has no effect on collectors value.) Can't do that with digital, even if the shops themselves go down.

Honestly, it doesn't make any difference. Look at the 3DS and Wii U eShops closing recently, with so many games no longer available in any legitimate format. You absolutely cannot rely on Nintendo's digital store to allow you to play anything 10 years from now.

The only store that you can reliably trust is GOG since everything there is DRM-free and can be downloaded locally.

I play it practically daily with my 6 year old and he adores it. Picture recognition for the weapons and armor go a long way. Mine can't read everything yet, but he sees the pictures and knows what it is from when I've told him. Plus there's a green arrow up for gear increases, and red down for non upgrades. I think they could get by just fine. Also, it's fun enough to where I stay up and play solo at night sometimes after he goes to bed and have reached Apocalypse + mode 😅

Then a boss appears that you can't button mash and make a post about accessibility in games.

Then you try out a mp pvp game only to get destroyed cause all you know how to do is button mash and call every good player a tryhard and bad game even though you're trying just hard but just suck.

Then you go back and play an older game that requires more thinking and puzzles and say it didn't age well because you got lost or stuck even though it was beaten by kids when it released

Why are you seeking information about a game before it comes out if you know you hate spoilers? How hard is it to assume spoilers if there is no warning or mention of spoilers being present or not? I think you just like the drama of playing spoiler victim like most of the spoiler cult.

Am playing the open beta over the weekend and it's pretty good. I'm a jaded gamer who yearns for the old Blizzard days of warcraft 2 and 3, so I'd say it managed to pass a fairly high bar.
Mechanically it's a solid game, and story wise it feels fresh. Seems to be a decent amount of Innovation though it's always online in a MMO/SoulsBourne sort of way.

So, instead of controlling yourself, you expect millions of randoms on the internet to control themselves? Most spoiler people just get worked up about the idea of spoilers and not the spoilers themselves. Taking on the journey yourself is completely different than viewing bits and pieces out of context, those bits and pieces are more likely to enhance the experience than to completely ruin it. That is unless a person is so bent out of shape that they've been soiled they can't enjoy all the parts that lead up to and follow the event.

Tldr, spoiler people are drama queens
