It’s just so fucking slow and it’s basically diet Ocarina of Time (which I already think is just kinda okay). It’s still a fine game, but it’s the only Zelda I don’t really like going back to outside of maybe Zelda 2

I never use flashes, I have always thought the slot had better uses in almost every game. Change "I" to "Teammate" and this triggers my R6 Siege PTSD. Where is my stress ball?

Except the music and sound design are excellent, the graphics are quite good especially for the team size, the world design has a fair amount of depth, there's a dumptruck worth of lore/optional audio, the "dream" sequences add some absurdist levity, and the first real boss and the last boss are pretty good and provide relatively interesting fights.
So, again, its not bad/good. It's average, not great, alright, etc.
Please grow up.

It Takes Two. Couch play, split screen co-op. It's a super fun platformer that introduces basic game mechanics. I've been playing it with my wife who is not a gamer and she loves it.

How so? I'm curious. I adore the combat, think the shading needs work, but the side characters are great in my opinion as well as the admittedly hyper specific items

Combat DoS2. Story, I feel like I'm in the minority but I really liked Pillars Of Eternity.
If you didn't like the style of DoS2 you might like PoE. It still has humor but it's overall much more serious, as you would probably expect from a central premise of kids being born without souls (effectively vegetables completely incable of looking after themselves).

These people are just bloggers. There is no standard to which they hold themselves. Lower your expectations.
Now lower them again...

Reality check - the game has 86% on steam, aka very positive.

A few people no doubt. But only because they think they will get 4k 60 with RT. Which won't actually happen.
I really don't think this Gen needs a pro version because it is lacking the super weak CPU of last generation. Given how far behind AMD is with RT and upscaling compared to Nvidia I would rather they just wait till the end of the console generation to benefit from 8 or so years of hardware and software improvements from AMD.

I am surprised that many people finished the first mission! After playing the first one, I was hyped but the pace was WAY too slow.

Best game for the Victorian setting. I would also say assassin's creed syndicate.

I don't intend to play it, but Metacritic is showing a 71 Metascore and 6.9 user score - that doesn't really sound like "universally agreed it's a horrible game". But i don't know, maybe 6.9 is horrible these days?
